Old cream much much better

Have been using the BB Cream for years. Recently notice they have changed the packaging but also the cream is alot runnier and feels greasy..... please go back to the old way

I started using the anti-aging BB cream a few weeks ago after running out of my old product. The first thing I noticed is how runny it is. Then the colour is quite off compared to what I am used to. I didnt find the coverage too bad but unfortunately, I had a severe allergic reaction to this product. I have never had an allergic reaction to anything in my life but have finally found something that made myskin blister like tiny pimples, then they popped and then I have had a red itchy rash that is peeling so badly I am leaving skin drops on my clothes that look like dandruff. This rash how now lasted 3 weeks and is red and hot. Next stop doctors....

Awful new formula

Why did you change this?! The old version of this cream was amazing and I had all my friends and family on it. This new version is awful - dries to a darker shade (oxidises on application), stings my eyes terribly when applying, and is overly "dewy" so I have to cake myself in powder afterwards.
Please discontinue this and go back to the original formula.

Be careful- severe sting

A long time garnier bb user, I tried this line as my normal product was not available. Within moments my eyes sting and watery. I have used it in different environments, and all the same reaction. It is definitely the ingredients. Have also had same reports from friends who have tried product after mentioning my concern. Stay clear!

I bought this as I couldn’t get my regulate BB cream, and boy I wish I hadn’t. There is something in it that makes my eyes sting, even though I was careful applying it around my eye area.
I can’t even give this one star.

I have used this new BB Cream twice now and each time it has stung my eyes and caused a reaction to my eyelids. Why change the formula when it was working brilliantly?
I do not endorse this product and am very disappointed that there is no representation in Australia to discuss my complaint.

My face is breaking out due to this product!

I bought this cream 2 weeks ago since using it i got so many pimples. I am 44y.0 never did i have a pimple on my face. And my eyes sting n become red...what have you done to this cream? I dont recommended it at all. Furious

Nieuwe formule zeer teleurstellend, al jaren gebruik ik deze crème kleur light, de oude crème was heerlijk en mooi van kleur maar nu met de nieuwe samenstelling last van prikkende ogen (smeer het niet dicht bij mijn ogen, maar als je zweet komt de crème toch in je ogen) en roodheid van de huid, ook lijkt de kleur meer oranje en de crème dekt minder goed. Waarom is deze goede crème in hemelsnaam veranderd. Ik vond het zo’n fijn product. Ik hoop echt dat de oude formule en kleur terugkomt.

I was such a Garnier BB fan until they changed the formula.
It is just terrible. It is oily, the medium colour has changed and it is blotches on the skin. It tens to “ flick” onto my clothing and has stained my white shirts.
It stings my eyes.
It is just terrible.
Please Garnier, revert back to the old formula and let us all know!!

Instant hives all over my neck after applying this product. A trip to the dr and steroid creams required. Expensive and very uncomfortable mistake. This product is NOT SAFE! Do not buy!!!!

I have used this product for so long and in March 2024 I bought a new tube that is now the new formula. Omg what on earth....
It stings my eyes so bad I have get to get medication to treat the problem.
The product is watery and blooshot.
Please go back to the old formula and recall this product from the market

Improves skin, but too much perfume/irritates eyes

I bought the BB cream with hyaluronic acid.
Pros: good light coverage for slight imperfections, improved skin tone, I went very slightly darker than my skin tone and it gives a very nice healthy glow. It's moisturising. After several hours wear at the end of the skin does seem a little shiny but I haven't had any actual pimple breakouts whilst wearing this. If the skin seems a little shiny, I normally apply some makeup powder, it seems to resolve the issue.
Cons: if you have very obvious acne it will not cover your spots: you will need corrector and/or foundation instead. The cream has a very strong perfume-y odor, it isn't unpleasant but it's not good if you have sensitive skin. The biggest cons for me if that my eyes get irritated. Why putting fragrance (or whatever chemical is giving that strong odour) and so many chemicals in the cream?
Garnier can you please produce a new BB cream with NO fragrances and less chemicals eg more suitably for sensitive skin and eyes? I love the concept behind BB, it's much lighter than wearing foundation and it's an all in one moisturisation + improved skin effect. But its not good to have so many chemicals / fragrances in the cream.

Having used this product for many years I could not understand why I suddenly developed an acute allergic reaction every time after I had used it - I ended up with very itchy, inflamed skin with swollen eyelids, and it stayed that way for up to 3 days. It was only when I looked at the packaging carefully and googled it that I realised the formulation had changed. I know hyaluronic acid occurs in the body, but I certainly reacted to it in the BB creme

I literally never write reviews ever but felt I had to regarding this. Have used BB cream for years and absolutely loved it - and even had people asking what it was.
Saw the new packaging, thought nothing of it but when I put it on its totally different. Doesnt seem to give any coverage & just a greasy look... I actually look better without it on at all! Please bring back the old one - I dont understand why it ever got changed!!

Extremely bad reaction

My mother used this for years and purchased a new one before going on holiday. She used it that morning before flying and that night she had an awful reaction. Because it wasn’t a new product to her she thought it was something causing the reaction. Swollen eyes red dry flakey skin itchy. She went to a pharmacy and doctor while on holiday it improved as she didn’t use anything on her skin. When she came home she used it again and the same reaction happened. She went to the doctor this time her usual one and ran test to ensure her medications weren’t causing this it was the 4th time that she realised what it was that was making her entire face swell. This BB cream.!! Just an awful experience for her and costs involved with figuring out what was happening.

I used the old formula for years. Really liked it. Now it has changed and is very different in colour, texture and how it feels. It stings. I threw it a way and will never buy again, unless the formula is changed back to what it was.

Terrible product, Worse communication

After applying the BB Cream, my skin became red and blotchy. The next day my skin peeled as though I had been sunburnt. To make matters worse, I notified Garnier on 28/6/2023 and as at 6/7/2023, I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED.

This was my first time buying this with the 'anti age', I have very sensitive skin (psoriasis) but I was highly impressed.
I had no reactions.
I loved that it glided on, gave an all over coverage, toned down the redness and blemishes.
I will definitely purchase again, it's perfect for days when you want light coverage.
