Please bring back the old formula

I have been using Garnier BB cream for many years and loved the prior formula.
The new formula is terrible.
It is oily, dark (I use the light cream but it is closer to medium, not light at all), does not feel nice on the skin at all and since using keep getting pimples.
Can you please, please return to the old formula.
I redeeming feature is it does cover blemishes to a mild extent.

Why change perfect?

I have used Garnier BB Cream Anti-Ageing (light) for more years than I can count with its perfect texture and coverage - I loved it! Until now. What has happened? Not just the packaging has changed but the product itself. It is watery has no tone or colour and gives no cover at all. It is terrible. I thought perhaps I got a dud but on researching discovered numerous scathing reviews here and on other independent review sites. So disappointing. Please, Garnier, look at the reviews and go back to the original perfect product!

Disappointing

I bought this product to try to look a bit more "put together" in the mornings, instead of wearing no make-up at all. Unfortunately, for a product that is meant to be "light" in shade, it is very orange and too dark for my skin. A couple of people at work asked if I had "been at the fake tan". Ugh. This is NOT the look I am going for. However, by mid-afternoon, all the colour seemed to have disappeared, so I guess that was a blessing in disguise. I am disappointed. I tried BB creams when they first came out years and years ago... this is nowhere near as good as I remember. I don't think I will bother again.

"Light" is VERY DARK and Orange.

As much as I love everything else about this produce (light weight, spreadability, price point, etc) the colour of the "Light" option is VERY DARK and orange. It's like a fake tan that is way too dark. I can't use it at all. Extremely disappointed. Really surprised that this product made it to market in the first place, it is clearly not good enough to go on sale. Do better, Garnier.

Way to dark

I am light skinned but still olive toned and the light colour is WAY to dark for me and far too orange, very disappointing. It is sooo much darker than the colour sample on the packaging. I thought at first was a dark one in the wrong packet but from other reviews seems to be an issue.

Amazing but poor colour choices

Too orange, needs a little more coverage

I haven't bought this product in years and was wary to buy again after looking at recent reviews. I think everyone is right, it was better before the new formula. I do really like the move to natural origin ingredients, however, I do think the new formula is slightly too orange for the light shade, and there could be slightly more coverage.

I have been using Garnier BB cream for years but as they have discontinued the one I used to use I tried this. It makes my eyes sore, red and weep all day. Why did you get rid of the other one Garnier? It was flawless.

Horrible new formula

I have been a loyal purchaser of the BB cream since it first hit shelves about 15 years ago. I wear it every day and got compliments on my skin everyday. This new version is disgraceful. My face feels like an oil slick and instead of hiding my wrinkles it has actually settled into the lines making them all more obvious. I have found wrinkles I didn't even know I had today. The new formula has pilled on my skin and worst of all even the light shade is bright orange. I will need to find a new BB cream because I am never wasting my money on Garnier again.

It appears you have changed the formula again and now the light is too dark. I started off with the medium, then you changed it a couple of years ago so I had to move to the light, now this is too dark also, are you trying to loose customers? I feel writing this is a waste of time because there doesn’t seem to be any response from you to any of the other people that have taken their time to write to you but what can you do.

Not the same any more!

I have been using this product for years and something has definitely changed! Within 1/2 an hour of putting it on my eyes sting terribly and I cant stop them watering. This morning I had to pull over in the car to try calm my eyes down. I couldn't see to drive. Please change back to the old formula Garnier!

Why change the colour after so long?

I have used this BB Cream cream in Light for many years. I purchased a new tube this week and was so disappointed to see the colour has changed. It's now darker and more orange/yellow. I will not be purchasing this again. Very disappointed. Now I have to find a new make up that suits my skin

Stings the eye (even when not bear them, oxidizes throughout the day constantly getting darker. Streaky and color guide is way off. The medium was super tanned and the light is like golden, not at all light.

Take it off the market

I bought this because my first experience of the product was that it was a good coverall. When I repurchased (now a few years later) I have broken out and my skin looks horrible. Red tinge and bumpy but not like normal acne, rather red rash. I tried two other garnier products in the same range and each have done this. I don’t know what ingredient is causing this but it cleqrly shouldn’t be on the market. I have never had poor skin on my cheeks before. It’s embarrassing

Not "Light" at all

I wish I'd read the reviews on this website before purchasing this product. I have pale skin so was hopeful this product in "Light" shade would be a good match my skin tone. (After all, it was the lightest shade available to purchase). This product was much too dark (and too brown) a shade to be designated a "light" shade. Very disappointing. Could not be used. I will not be purchasing any Garnier products going forward.

My heart breaks because of the new formula…

So disappointed with the new formula. I always loved loved loved this BB cream and constantly had people ask me what make up I used. So many of my friends started using it…sadly we’ve all had to look for our new “miracle BB cream” because this no longer is it…please please please consider reverting to the original formula - you can’t improve on perfection.

Purchased this product and really hate it. It's certainly not 'light' as described. More brown and orange. Another case of 'should've read the reviews'. Come on Garnier - light is light and is not what you consider light in the tube. I really don't know who you are marketing this 'light' product to. Certainly not me. Light Shade too dark

I just purchase this in the Light shade. It is much darker than all my other light BB cream brands that I have used before. It leaves an orange tint on my face and looks awful as the colour is so dark so I unable to leave the house wearing this. I was so disappointed that I wasted my money and regret that I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing.

First time buying as I like garnier products ,I bought from my local supermarket ,I bought the light ,you have to be kidding me this is way too dark for my skin tone ,as I couldn’t get a refund I gave to my friend who is well tanned and it suited her skin ,so very mis leading ,do not buy if you have a pale complexion .

I've only just discovered this bb cream and it's great..I'm 59 and foundations were just annoying me ..never looked natural ..so happy I have garnier now never felt more confident. .. Light is actually medium

I borrowed my nieces tube of this product and it looked fabulous on me. Went to buy my own and find the latest stock is much too dark for my skin despite being "light". Looks like I put mud on my face, plus it had a yellowish tinge. What a complete waste of my money, and sad that the product has changed.

Terrible new formula

Product used to be good, then they brought out new packing and changed the names and formula along with it. The old BB cream I used was easy to apply, didn't leave lines and blended in seamlessly, allowing me to use on its own or as a base. The new formula is nothing like the old one.

Bad change of formula - orange and watery

Why is the "light" colour now watery and orange? At first I thought I bought the wrong shade, but I bought "light" again in BB Cream classic and BB Cream All in One. All had the same colour and completely unusable. After years of buying this, have changed brands.

I have used anti-aging bb light Claire for any years and found it perfect for my skin but now you have discontinued this product and replaced it with just “ light” the colour is too dark and yellow for my skin, can you suggest something else for me to use ?

I have been buying Garnier BB Anti-Ageing Light colour cream for years but NO MORE!! When the packaging changed so did the colour. It is now too dark with brown/orange undertones. So disappointed Garnier. Will you acknowledge and rectify this problem?

I’m not sure why they have changed this product. It has always been my staple however now the colour is yellow and doesn’t blend in. It would be helpful if I knew where I could purchase the old version. I am now going to look for a different product.
