Best dye I've used!

Wow this is the quickest and easiest packaged dye I've ever used (today 1st time user). It was easy as you just snip and pour then stir and to apply you pick it up in your gloved fingers and easily spread it. And best thing all rubbish then fits back in tub put lid on and throw. Then the after conditioner has a screw lid, anazing so much easier than others that your fumbling about to snip in shower. Absolutely loved this new packaging for ease of use, application and disposal. Oh and not one bit of mess!

Smooth and effortless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is really easy to apply, it is non dripping and stays on hair like a hair mask.
It does not smell all chemically like other colors. The packaging is super, it allows to blend the product within the tub making it really effortless.
The product leaves hair smooth and shiny with feather like touch.
I applied it for a good 60 minutes and the result was convincing.
The only con with this is that if the product gets into the eyes while washing it may itch and burn a bit so be careful. And the result may feel a bit lesser / unsatisfactory when compared to other chemical infused product but isn't too bad for the natural ingredients used.

Did nothing for me.

Decided to give this a try after my go to brand changed their formula. I researched it and read reveiws which encouraged me to give it a go. However despite me following the instructions exactly, using 2 boxes of it for my length, and keeping it on my hair for a bit longer than suggested, it did virtually nothing. I can still see my regrowth - my hair is still dark brown at the roots not black. It made my hair slightly softer for a day or two before I started getting dandruff for the first time in ages. Will not purchase again.

I colour my hair at home often as i am very dark haired and starting to see a lot more grey hairs now so colour every few weeks. This is definitely the best at home hair colour i have tried. It mixed well in the tub and then i applied like a hair mask, the fact it has no ammonia is brilliant and so it didn't have that strong horrible smell you usually get with ammonia dyes. The shea butter conditioner is absolutely amazing and smells lovely. After drying my hair it felt so soft, looked shiny and felt nourished. It covered my greys perfectly too. I will definitely buy this product again.

So I was sent the colour soft truffle black. My hair is fairly dark anyway so I didn’t mind if it was dark. The dye was really easy to prepare. You just mix it in the pot and apply like a hair mask. I have long hair (down to my bum) so I did need to use 2 pots which I was sent . I was really pleased with how the colour came out and it left no stains on my scalp at all which I have had with previous dyes. It was exactly as described and the result was a very dark brown/ soft black. I will definitely be buying this again and would recommend.

As someone who regularly colours hair every four weeks i always find it a hassle. Stinky, messy. Unfriendly eco packaging. This is a game changer. It is small amd compact in size, doesnt have the normal associated ammonia smell, really easy and nice to apply. Although not important factor the colour of the packaging is also nice.
Also contains shea butter which left my hair feeling soft amd shiny.
Adter washing out it was a rich deep colour amd left my hair feeling s9ft and nourished. I will be replscing my usual hair colourant with thus for sure!
100% recommend.
Also you can use the tub to mix the product no more having to use your own plastic tubs at home!

I received Garnier Good Permanent Hair Color hair dye in shade 2.0 Truffle Soft Black from the garnier community for testing and review. The box is cardboard and contains all the necessary things. Gloves, wooden mixing stick, paint and instructions. The box serves as a bowl for mixing the product. The consistency of the paint is good when mixed well. It is easy to apply and holds well in the hair. The paint doesn't stink. I kept it in my hair for 30 minutes, then rinsed it and applied Shea butter Nourishing Care for 3 minutes and rinsed it off. The hair dyed very well. They are soft and shiny. I will definitely come back to this paint. The product is vegan and ammonia-free

Inside you will find all that you need to leave your hair perfect , covering all the white hairs, and leaving your hair super soft and bright 😎🤩 just instead of the stick I used a hair die brush that I had at home for the application. Doesn't smell bad at all once you start to apply it, and looks like something luxurious. From a silverish pearl colour turns into some golden bronce in the end. I will recommend to use two of them if you have really long hair and a big amount ( as in my case) but I did wanted to cover my roots, and did the job nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comes in a giant ice-cream tub which you mix the colourant and developer in with a big stick - quite a fun experience that makes you feel part of the process rather than just shaking a bottle. The product is quite loose and can get a bit messy - don't think it would be a problem for whole head application but for roots it can be a bit fiddly. A little bit of scalp stinging but not as bad as I've had with other dyes. Post-dye scalp sensitivity / flaking also not as bad. Lovely colour - it's closer to a very very dark brown and not a harsh black tone. Will keep using this dye going forward!

The dye was easy to mix and apply I wasn’t really a fan of the gloves it came with

Good concept but not for me

First, the pros:
The smell is really nice
The gloves are better than usual, slightly longer too which is good
Its all easy to dispose of
The conditioner is good and plenty for at least two washes.
Now the cons:
I dont think it covers as well as others do
The mixing with the spatula can we very messy and you have to be careful it doesn't splash as you stir (I was surprised it wasn't thicker)
I think it would only do a full head if shoulder length or shorter. I have just below shouldee length hair which is heavily layered and there wasnt enough to do my whole head of hair.
Its a really good concept but I dont think I'd use it again.

Was simple to mix and the instructions were clear! Once mixed I got to work! I was impressed on how non messy the process was, and no black marks around my hair line. It’s been two weeks and my hair still looks amazing! The added conditioner really gave my hair a social softness (I have plenty left over for in between) over all this is my new go to home hair dye. I loved the packaging as it was all eco-friendly and recyclable. The colour was amazing and looked so natural leaving it beautifully soft, shiny and conditioned. The shea butter smell was lovely as was the after colour conditioner which contained multiple applications. My hair has quite a few greys and its covered them very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best hair dye I've tried for a number for reasons, firstly qpplication is simple and easy, its just like applying a hair mask, its smells very pleasant which ive never experienced with a hair dye before.
I got a little bit on my skin and it came of super quick and easy again an added benefit.
When washing the dye off, its very quick and doesnt require you to wash for around 30 minutes to ensure the dulye is out. It was very quick and once dried my hair was completely covered and looked so glossy and still smelt absolutely gorgeous

I used this soft black for just over half my hair and did my front bits red. This dye actually smells really nice compared to other dyes I've used. My didn't have a horrible smell after either. I worked it in like I would a hair mask. It applied beautifully and I do love how my hair is. I just wish that it was more of a jet gloss black instead of an soft ashy kind of black. But still an amazing product.

Nice alternative to harsh dyes

I usually noticed lots of my hair coming out when washing the dye out but there was hardly any with this. Didn’t have any horrible chemical smells. The colour wasn’t as black as I was expecting, maybe need to leave it longer next time. I found the mixing in the tub a bit of a pain but I liked that I could see exactly how much dye I had left whilst using. I love that the conditioner comes in a resealable pouch and there’s enough for a couple of washes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a regular in colouring my hair, it's dark brown/ black and I do it every 4 weeks. I like the concept of no ammonia, vegan formula and 90% natural origin for Permanent hair colour giving 100% grey coverage.
A few negatives now - you can't mix two shades together without wasting the remainder of the product. Such a shame as I wanted to mix 2.0 & 4.0 together.
The number 1 & 2 sachet does not allow to use less than the product which is in the one sachet as it's not re sealable.
I only really colour my roots so feel that I wasted almost half of the product which in this day and age is quite costly.
Please please change the packaging on these two sachets, make them like the shea conditioner sachet.
100 mls of product in total is far too much just for a root application.

Its simple enough to use everything you need is in the box. Its more eco friendly than others because there is no plastic developer bottle. You mix the two sachets in the container and apply it to your hair. The consistency is great thick but not too thick it doesn’t drip and stays where you put it.
washing it off is simple and very quick. It doesn't need excessive rubbing like some do.
It covers greys really well and leaves a lovely colour toned look.
The packaging is cute too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hair dye is so easy to use! You mix all the contents together in the container, and scoop the dye out. Application of the dye makes for a luxurious experience because it makes the process so easy! There's a nice, clean scent to the dye as well - it doesn't smell like chemicals! Upon application, there is no drip to the dye either, which is a bonus! Once rinsed out, you're left with multi-tonal, natural-looking hair which can be preserved with multiple-use of the conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Garnier GOOD Permanent Hair Dye in the shade 2.0 Truffle Soft Black. Totally love the new method using the the tub to mix the colour making it very sustainable. The dye left a rich, all over colour covering all the greys! It contains natural ingredients and also contains no ammonia, making it gentle on my hair, and suitable for vegans! My hair feels nourished, healthy, so soft and shiny. My daughter loved it so much she rushed to buy one! Well done Garnier!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A Gorgeous Hair Dye, That Is So Easy To Use. I Used Soft Truffle Black. Everything You Need Is In The Tub. Colour (Soft Truffle Black) Cream, Accelerator, Spatula,Gloves And A Fab Conditioner For Add After The Water Runs Clear.It Smells Divine. So Pleased There Is No Ammonia In These Dyes Which Is Great. So You Mix The Colour Cream With The Applicator Using The Wooden Spatula To Mix Together. I Did Find A Couple Of Lumps In The Dye, But I Easily Rectified That With The Spatula . Add The Mixture To Dry Hair, Working It Through Every Strand, From Root To Tip. Leave On For Thirty Minutes And Rinse. Then Apply The Conditioner,Work Into Hair And Rinse. I Love These Hair Dye's They Have Left My Hair So Shiny,NO GREY'S (YAY) And A Super Colour Which I Love. The Sustainability Is Excellent With This Product. Love It.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm ultimately impressed with this new Garnier Good Permanent Hair Dye. I've been lingering for a hair dye like this for so long.
Having very long hair, it's not very easy to conceal all those pesky greys by myself. This new hair dye is simply life-changing, plus I don't need assistance from anyone to help colour my hair now.
The tub packaging is lovely, it's so effortless to use and masks all my grey hair remarkably well. My hair is so glossy, amazingly ravishing and smells gorgeous afterwards. The added shea butter makes my hair extremely soft and my colour is so vibrant, which stays for longer.
Thank you very much, Garnier, for this innovation, for caring and understanding your customers' struggles. My life is so straightforward now.
I'd approvingly suggest this fantastical hair dye to everyone else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this product. I am not a professional hairdresser and I wanted something very easy to use to dye mi hair. I have a few grey hairs in some areas and I wanted to cover them but I didn't want to damage my hair. Whith this product I was able to do it at home and I got excellent results. The coverage is very good, my hair now looks healthy and I look younger. It was really easy to apply and the colour is perfect. I would definitely recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose shade 2.0 Truffle Soft Black, I have annoying grey hair, This new hair dye comes in a recyclable box, Nice and easy to use hair dye. you mix the hair dye in the cardboard tub with the spatula, no more plastic bottles, The formula is perfect, drip proof so no more mess, I left the dye on for 30 minutes, and rinsed it off, my hair is looking glossy and rich in colour, i really love the shade and received many compliments. I would definitely recommend,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That was my first time with " Garnier - good permanent hair colour,, beautiful full coverage, highlights and toner are dreamy, I feel Like I just been at the best hair dresser in my life. No Ammonia which means no damage to our hair, nice smell and healthy look. I received two packages which were perfect to cover my very long hair. Application was really Easy and gave me full of joy. OMG WOW WOW, what can I say except I will never use another hair colour again, I love that it’s Vegan, and environmentally friendly, leaves no residue on the skin, leaves it nice and silky and is super easy to use, love the cute conditioner and it left my hair soft. I have curly long hair and was surprised that one pot was enough. Thank you so very much Garnier for this wonderful product which I will be telling all my friends about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hair dye was beautiful to use. I love the packaging design. It reminded me of ice cream though! I liked that there was a protective layer underneath the lid which csn rest your mind that the dye hasn't been switched for another colour or tampered with. The hair dye was easy to mix and apply and there was zero irritation caused. My hair looks beautiful, its a definite colour and brand I will be continuing to use in the future

Natural colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been 6 weeks since I dyed my hair using the dark chocolate brown colour. As per my previous review very easy to apply and great colour match. I have black hair and tend not to use black dye as I find it gives unnatural finish.
I’m pleased upon using this colour it did not give that an effect. I only colour my roots that difference between to the old dye colour (chocolate brown) to this is undetectable!! Great result!
