    Go to Dye

Colour: 5/5 Shine: 5/5 Hair Health: 5/5 Overall: 5/5 I have used this specific colour so much over the last 20 years and I can honestly say that it's my go to dye. I've never had any problems with this dye set and the colour it produces is wonderful and natural. The oils in the dye really leave your hair feeling so wonderfully soft and smooth and shiny that it gives your hair a new lease of life. I really love that it brings your hair to life and makes you feel so much more confident. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a lovely brown colour. (Always remember to do a patch test just in case)

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good fresh colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good clear instructions. Instructions also tell you what bits can be recycled. I did a patch test before hand. I leave my hair 3 days unwashed before I dye my hair. Dye easy to mix and apply. I experienced no drips, I used 3/4 of the dye. My hair is short, fine and thin. I left it on for the 35 mins as I haven’t dyed my hair since July 2021 and I have suborn greys. There was no horrible ammonia smell or itch. It washed off well The conditioner for after is divine and will last a few weeks. Hair feels great after styling. The result was a little bit more auburn than I expected it to be but from my before photos my hair is lighter than I thought it was. Very happy with the results.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Wonderful soft shiny hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opened up the box and read the instructions, did my patch test.... important thing as I've had reactions before. Put the gloves on and mixed everything together. Eady to apply and, easy to tell where you've put the cream. The smell wasn't as strong as others. Waited the time and followed the directions. Took a bit of time to get all the solution out, applied the conditioner and left it for the time... this smelt ok but found it hard to wash out completely. Brushing my hair took a bit of time, which it always does after colouring, also seemed to be alot more hair coming out while brushing!!! Dried my hair like normal and my hair was a lovely colour and so shiny. No grey hairs left.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Conditioning colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This colour exceeded my expectations. Easy to follow instructions and covered my hair well. I had grey roots which coloured evenly and blended in well with the rest of my hair. The colour was true to the colour illustrated on the box. My hair is now soft and shiny and feels in great condition. The conditioner that comes with the colour was lovely to use and smelt lovely too. The formula itself was easy to apply and didn't drip or run. A really great product that I definitely recommend. I have had lots of compliments from my friends one of which asked me which salon I had my hair coloured !

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Love it

I love Garnier Nutrisse hair color. During COVID times I opted to dye my hair at home. My hair gets grey really fast so I was planing to do it for sometime. I went with Garnier Nutrisse because I was familiar with the brand. The instructions were clear and easy and after the 48 he patch test i coloured my hair. My hair looked amazing. Usually when I colour my hair becomes a bit dry, but after using the conditioner that came in the pack my hair felt super smooth and smells so dang good. I love it. I’ve been using this dye ever since. It’s pocket friendly and does a really good job

    Best part is the conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used Nutrisse before as I normally use Olia due to no ammonia. I have really sensitive skin and only certain hair dyes work for me. I tried nutrisse for the first time and I was blown away. It smells amazing and the colour coverage is really good. The colour came out vibrant and also claims to be good for grey hair coverage. The best part is the conditioner, the conditioner that has amazing oils in it is comparable to high end conditioners I normally use. Definitely worth giving a go, so easy to use and gives a healthy finish for your hair like it was salon treated.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this has a really nice smell to it, not overpowering. It was easy to use and not at all messy as some dyes are. I have about 50% grey hair so was hoping it would cover all of them too which it did. I left it on for the recommended time and when I washed it out it left my hair soft and shiny. I usually use Olia which is my favourite. I think if I was to buy this product, I would need to buy a different shade as this one didn't really change the colour of my hair. This is probably because I have black hair so it is difficult to change the colour to anything lighter.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Nice rich colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Garnier dyes for years but never tried this particular shade as I thought it was too flat a colour. I must say I’m really impressed with it. My hair colour before had a lot of red tones to it and I wanted to get rid of these and they have coloured really well. It’s not a comparison with the colour on the front but they may be because of the existing red tones. It’s quite a bit darker than I expected but this is quite normal with brown dyes. The dye itself is easy to use and the smell isn’t too strong. The conditioner is great and left my hair soft and shiny.

One of the better at home kits. Will lighten darker hair by s few shades. Two bottles for past shoulder length if you have thick hair but one bottle for thing hair will work if your hair is a bit past your shoulders.\nThe smell is very nice and the conditioner that comes with it will last a few washes and is very nourishing.\nEasy to use and minimal mess. Easy to clean up off my skin.\nIs a bit hard to spread at the beginning but works into the roots quickly.\nAlready dyed hair came out true to box my roots where slightly off in colour but not noticeable.\n

    Nice colour!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This colour was a shade lighter than I normally like but I am pleased with the colour result. I have quite a few greys coming through and they covered well although my roots were slightly lighter than the rest of my hair as I usually use a darker shade. Very easy to use (it’s just a matter of mixing 2 bottles) and minimal mess. I would say my hair has felt a bit dry and knotty but the conditioner helps and the bonus is that you get a few uses for that. The product smells really nice too. I would definitely try again in a more appropriate shade for me

    A conditioning hair colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In opening this product the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I liked how the product easily spread through my hair with plenty of product too I would prefer a better quality glove as I ended up with a little dye on my hand where the glove split between my little finger and next finger. My hair afterwards felt quite conditioned and also had very good coverage in my few greys and also my extensions, I would recommend this to friends and family Maybe as an extra selling point include and extra conditioner for future use?

    So happy!!!

I used 2 bottles on my hair. My hair is pretty thin so for this length if you have a lot of hair I would recommend 3 bottles. It's nice and easy to put on and spread through your hair. The conditioner is a bit of a nightmare rinsing out and be prepared for your shower to look like you killed a dozen smurfs. The only issue I have is once I rinsed, my hair was very tangley, so brittle and I couldn't get a detangle brush or comb through it wet without snapping my hair. Once dry it feels healthy enough and still soft. There is a yellow tinge but I had brown hair before so didn't expect it to be as blonde as what the box said. I would buy again but not for a final colour. It would destroy your hair if you used this as a final colour n not a base colour.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Not as good as I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this as I had heard good things about it, and it was good but not as good as I expected. The reason being it covered about 60% of my greys. I had a golden brown tone in my hair which was growing out so the bottom half of my hair is a lighter brown than the top but I do actually like that as it looks like a subtle balayage. Overall it is a good product and does cover greys but not all of them and not stubborn greys either. The price point is reasonable and it can be bought at almost any supermarket or chemist.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Rich Colour With Great Grey Coverage

I've used this a couple of times now and it's become one of my go-to hair dyes. The colour comes out rich and even, and it covers greys really well without looking flat. The cream is easy to apply and doesn't drip everywhere, which makes the whole process much less messy. I also liked the conditioner included in the box – it left my hair feeling soft, smooth and looking shiny afterwards. The colour lasted well for several weeks before needing a refresh. Overall, it's a reliable at-home dye that gives great results for the price.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Better than Davina’s Colour!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shade, mocha brown, is a cool rich colour, which I think would suit most brunettes, unlike the warm orangey or reddish shades like Davinas colour, which don’t suit my complexion. Nutrisse has a nice scent, easy application and great conditioner.....although the silly little bottle is annoying, it keeps falling over and you can’t get all the conditioner out! Some residual colour after washing, so a towel on your pillow for a couple of nights will stop it ruining your bed linen. Very happy to use this product again.m

So thick it doesnt go very far!

I usually use garnier olia glow but was finding my hair quite dry after using it think theyve changed the reciepe. Anyway I have past my shoulder length hair, I usually use 2 bottles of olia glow and have some left to top up other areas we'll I bought 2 boxes of this dye and I had used a full box before id even finished my roots its so thick and doesnt go very far at all I actually had to check i had uses the correct bottles as ita the consistency of conditioner with a very poor spreading at all. My two bottles that would normally do my full head and more well this brand didnt even do my full head! Literally scraping the dye out the bottle and still not enough to cover my full head resulting in patchy waste of time. Do not reccomend at all. Will never buy again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Beautiful Colour!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to colouring my hair, there's only one Brand that comes to my mind: Garnier. The mocha brown dye gives my hair a beautiful hue of brown. I have a few grey hairs and this dye completely covers them and brings out a shade very close to my own hair colour. Making me very confident to go out and about without anyone suspecting the unwelcome greys that hide underneath. I love Garnier dyes because they are very much consumer friendly, i.e. very easy to use at home and giving excellent results! Thank you Garnier!

    Good colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this colour and it's the one I buy regular. I'm quite dark brown with a few greys around my hairline, it seems to cover these well. As a serial hair dyer my colour is never natural so when my roots grow I've noticed this colour has a light brown glow so for that reason I'm gonna try the chestnut colour instead. As far as ease of use it couldn't really be any easier...merge, shake and apply. The smell isn't overpowering during application either and the conditioner leaves hair soft and smelling lovely.

Used: 8.13 - Medium Ash Beige Blonde\n\nThis was the first Garnier colour I tried after moving on from the original LiveColour (remember those?!) and it was one of my favourites for a long time.  I go for some of the newer, slicker formulas these days, but if you're after a budget friendly, gentle colour that smells nice, gives a good colour result  and leaves hair super soft and shiny - this is your winner.\n\nDon't expect a huge amount of lift as the pay off for healthier hair is less lightening, but if you already have lightish hair, you'll be able to use any of the colours in the range without any issues.\n\nThis shade leaves a lovely neutral blonde - I wouldn't say ash in the way most people think of ash these days - but it does look quite natural and is a good winter shade.\n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using this product and overall I am happy with the results Easy to understand guide and the product was easy to mix and apply. No dripping of the product onto surfaces with the added bonus of this not being a mouse. As a liquid rather than a mouse i was able to apply more accurately and not get so much dye on my skin. Only comment I would say is that I found the aroma from the dye very strong whilst colouring and after rinse and conditioner Very happy with the grey coverage and colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so easy to prepare and the smell isn’t too overpowering. Application is easy and there was no dripping. I used two due to the length and thickness of my hair. After rinsing and using the conditioner provided my hair felt soft. I dried and styled as normal and my hair felt like I’d been to the salon. The coverage is amazing and even. All greys were covered and the finished look, looked so natural. I absolutely loved this product and will definitely be using it again and would recommend!!

    Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was a bit dubious about using a new product that it wouldn’t match my own hair colour I needn’t have worried it matched perfectly. I’m lucky that my hair is still dark with the only grey bits at my ears and some strands down the right side of my hair. I was pleasantly surprised that it covered all my grey in 25 minutes it didn’t drip like other colourings do which meant I could go and read a magazine while I waited. I would highly recommend this product and will be using it from now on

    Super Soft, Super shiny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a regular user of hair dye, I have tried many different makes and brands of hair colouring products. I was pleasantly surprised how good Garnier Nutrisse crème was. The product was easy to mix and apply to my hair. It covered my grey roots easily and there was still plenty left in the bottle to cover the rest of my medium length hair. The best thing about this product was how soft and shiny it left my hair after being coloured and conditioned. It felt so light, I couldn’t help but touch it and move it! The smell wasn’t brilliant, but it was similar to most hair colouring products. I was very pleased with Garnier Nutrisse Crème including how true to the colour it was, as shown by the packaging, but the main reason was how super soft and shiny it left my hair. I highly recommend this product.

I have used this colour for as long as it has been available, and whilst i will admit to having the odd affair with others, this remains my favourite.\nI have (naturally) very blonde hair (that now has "ash blonde" shall we say, given for free) that is both dry AND fine,so a good colour is one that looks great, lasts AND cares for my hair....which this does and then some.\nThe formula is lovely and rich (no drips),the colour is natural and lasts weeks on end, the creamy colour contains hair loving avocado oil (leaving your post - colour hair super soft and lush) and the subtle shade variations (no simple "blonde / brunette / auburn / raven" shades here),mean that you can tweak your style ever so slightly, and come out looking like a salon has been your home for hours.I will repurchase, and i encourage you to try it as well.\n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful hair dye! I used this to cover an old balayage and it looks so lovely and natural. It's easy to apply and disperse through hair, the formula stays damp without drying up for a generous amount of time so you can really work it through the hair and ensure it's evenly throughout. This covered evenly and was easy to apply. The conditioner that came with it coupled with the dye looked lovely and glossy - still looking amazing over a week later!

    Even application and shiny results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been dying my hair at home for around 5 years so have tried a number of different hair dye brands. In the main I like this dye - if is easy to mix and apply, it gives even colour with no patches and hair is incredibly shiny and soft after use. The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because it has a very strong chemical smell when applying which doesn't bother me too much but if your sensitive to smell it would be unbearable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dye itself was very easy to apply and relatively mess-free. Even while waiting for the product to develop, there was no dripping which is a problem I've encountered with home dyes in the past. The initial colour was a VERY dark, deep brown, with a reddish tinge. There was a significant colour loss after the first 2 - 3 washes and my hair has lightened quite a bit. The end result is still a nice colour but it's lost its richness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be the second time I have tried out these products. I used the dark brown shade before which was my natural hair colour. This was a slight change of colour for me. The instructions is easy to follow. Just to let you know because this was abit different from my natural hair colour I had to use 2 boxes as I have quite long hair. The colour came out good and covered all my nuisance grey hairs. My hair doesn’t feel dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unsure at first whether I would like this product, I have only used foam hair colours previously however I was pleasantly surprised. The smell isn’t too over powering like some products can be, it went on easily and was little mess from the product. Overall I think I personally should have used two boxes rather than just the one as I do have thick hair but I am impressed with the outcome and would definitely use again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clear easy to follow written and picture instructions, very easy to mix the product when ready to use with the provided gloves to protect your hands, very easy application that didn't drip, rinsed off easily and the conditioner included in the pack left my hair feeling smooth, very happy with the finished results, even tones all over my hair and a very natural brown, no brassy or red tones, very happy with overall finish.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Super Shiny Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Nutrisse light brown was my preferred choice and it was the right one. Ease of use, nice packaging & nice plastic squeezy tube so i could get all the colour out and and into the bottle. Lovely rich none drip cream that left me with a very even luxurious salon look & feel to my hair. My hair is super soft & shiney & feels amazing. I literally cannot think of anything that could be improved with this product.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Nice colour with glossy finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this product was easy to prepare and apply. I previously had medium to dark brown hair that needed a touch up of colour. The resulting colour from the dye turned out to be a nice warm(ish) shade of brown, it came out a little dark but I know it will lighten after a few washes. My hair is nice and glossy after using the product which is always a bonus, plus it smells really nice!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Smells lovely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They dye smells lovely rather than having a chemical smell, the instructions are easy to follow I left the dye on for the allocated time then washed out and used the conditioner which smelled great. After drying my hair the colour was even and looked the colour indicated on the box and it looked shined and healthy. It’s been over a week since using the colour and the colour hasn’t faded

Good grey coverage but a bit drying

I've been dying my hair at home a lot since Covid, and this was one one of the permanent hair colour products that I tried. For my long hair I needed two packs. For reference, I have coarse, thick hair and some some some greys. The package contains the usual components of a DIY hair colour kit - disposable gloves, colourant, activator and conditioner. The mixture was the right consistency - not too drippy or thick. However, the smell was quite strong, possibly one of the strongest smelling DIY hair colour I've ever used. I could feel the dryness in my hair when I was rinsing the dye off, but the thick and creamy conditioner helped to offset the initial dryness. I was happy with the grey coverage which was much better than Garnier Olia. I also didn't get any fading over the following weeks after subsequent shampoos. It does the job, but probably isn't my favourite due to the dryness and the strong smell.

Garnier creme hair colour Mocha Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used the colour on the top half of my head to cover my whites/grey hairs. The colour had a very strong smell when on and I kept it on for 25-35 mins and washed it with the conditioner that was provided. It washed off easily and my hair picked the colour really well covering how I wanted it. Left my hair nice and shiny. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

    Nice Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice creamy hair dye. The resulting colour was nice but did end up a little darker than I was expecting. It covered almost all grey, but think it would take another colouring to cover all of it. I did find it strange that the colour turned white before it turned brown. Staining on skin was very easy to wash off which I've never seen with a hair dye before.

    Garnier Nutrisse Crème Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the hair dye this morning, first thing I noticed was the lovely smell unlike other hair dyes. The product went on very well, absolutely loved the colour. Only problem we had with this product was the reminding greys on my hair, overall I am very pleased with this product. It has left my hair in amazing condition, soft and shiny and would use this product again!

    Yes, I recommend this product.
