1. Prepare and mix your colour: Add the contents of the Colourant Cream tube into the Developer Milk Applicator Bottle.
2. Shake well and snap off the tip of the bottle.
3. Apply your colour: Apply mixture to hair lengths and ends, using the tip of the applicator bottle to separate the hair section by section.
4. Massage well.
5. Leave for 25 - 35 minutes if you have resistant grey hair.
6. Rinse and Condition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Garnier colourant has given my hair a lovely even colour and I will definitely be using again. The product is easy to use with Garnier’s usual clear instructions. The gloves are a little small fitting compared to some which might be an issue for some and I had slight difficultly opening the developer bottle but these were minor issues not relating to the quality of the colour itself. No drip during developing time was a big plus as this can still be a home dye problem. The conditioner is generously portioned and lovely to use with a thick texture that left my hair feeling and looking great. All in all a very positive home colour experience.

Gloves let it down

Look, I love the colour, my greys are covered, my hair looks and feels silky and healthy. The product was easy to use. BUT, please Garnier, lift your game on the gloves! I have quite small hands and yet these only just fit me. Heaven help anyone with Medium to Large hands! Furthermore, they weren’t textured, so immediately stuck to my hands. And then to make matters worse, they ripped easily when I took them off, meaning I couldn’t use them for the second process (roots first, ends second).

Nice colour, but too dark for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I coloured my hair with this at the weekend. I have used chestnut before, but this seemed darker than previous brand used. Easy to use, product a bit runnier than my usual colourant, but not in a bad way it was easy to apply, but I used a brush from a previous colourant to help distribute the product more easily. There was was enough product for my longer than shoulder length hair. I found it a bit strong smelling at one point, but that was only for a minute or so. Finished result is a very nice colour, but I feel it is too dark for me so doubt I would use this colour again, but if you are looking for a glossy dark chestnut colour then I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Garnier nutrisse Ultra colour this past week I sampled ultra vibrant Brown which contained four oils frosted and the colour chestnut colour. When It was applied it smelled reasonable not chemical. I only left on for 20 minutes as I recently dyed my hair ( about 4 weeks ago and very similar colour) when I washed out today and dried the hair you could see a difference perfect colour very happy with and didn't look like a boxed hair dye my hair felt stronger and already more moist with volume will be using again. People jave complemented how healthy my hair looked. ( received free sample as part of a promotion)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hair colour arrived in new nutrisse packaging which is more up to date for the garnier brand. The colour I got was Frosted Chestnut. The dye was easy to mix and apply like all nutrisse products. There is a strong smell for those sensitive to how products smell. The conditioner provided was a little different to usual not as fruity scented. The hair felt in great condition after drying and even a few washes later still felt nourished and easy to comb. The colour is medium-deep reddish brown. Looks brown indoors whereas outside or in bright light I can see the reddish tones shine through. I do suit reddish tones and my hair looks healthy. Overall pleased with this colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been going to a salon to get my hair coloured but after trying the Nutrisse hair dye I'm seriously considering doing it myself. My hair looks shiny, healthy and all my greys are fully covered. It was very easy to apply and the conditioner is one of the best I've ever used. The highlight for me was the gorgeous smell after I washed my hair. My only even better if would be the amount of product you get in the box. I have shoulder/collarbone long hair and it was just about enough to dye it. If someone has longer or even thicker hair they'll need to use 2 boxes of dye as one won't be enough. I'm super happy that I was able to try this and will be definitely buying it in the future.

The instructions were very easy and simple to follow. I used the option 2 instructions I have below shoulder length hair and there was just enough to do my whole head. I have some grey which the product covered really well the colour was even from root to tip. I left on for full 25 minutes then washed out and used the conditioner that’s included it left my hair feeling shiny and smooth like I’d just left a salon. My hair smelt great I would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love the Nutrisse Permanent Hair Dye a lot !!! I never tried Nutrisse before and i'm amazed how beautiful my hair looked after colouring it. Everyone was saying how lovely my hair looked like. I've used a lot of different hair dye before as i colour my hair very frequently because of my greys and Nutrisse left me very impressed and it was the first time i choose that colour too. In overall i'm really satisfied with this hair dye. It was really easy to use and it covered all my greys. My hair was left so soft,radiant with a really nice vibrant colour. Will definitely recommend it to everyone and will surely buy it again. Thank you Garnier for making this great product and for sending it to me free to trial.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Up until now I've always wanted to try frosted chestnut but was scared in case it left a red tint on my hair, I have dark brown hair and usually use garnier's mocha. I'm definitely gonna swap to this now, the colour is exactly like the front of the box, it's got depth to it, not just a flat brown. As always the greys have been banished with this easy to use dye. The conditioner leaves hair silky and the dye isn't a strong overpowering smell while applying it. Will definitely be buying this from now on.

I usually visit my hairdresser every six to eight weeks but as a result of Covid and being over 65, didn't want to take the risk. So pleased I didn't! The colour is rich and multi-dimensional (unlike many hair colours) and after using, my hair was in the best condition it has been for a long time. Particularly like the fact that I can continue to use the conditioner for several weeks after colouring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this cane a little earlier than expected. I’ve seen this colour before in stores and have been thinking hmm. So glad it’s the usual easy to apply does smell nice but obviously there’s no hiding that ‘hair dye smell’. My hair feels soft especially using the conditioner it came with. It’s multi tones but that could just be cos the sun has bleached parts of my hair showing up a reddish tone (which I do love). I would recommend this product and i will be getting more.

I have long hair but just managed to do it all with one box. I would recommend 2 boxes if you have long thick hair tho. The colour came out lovely. Appears to have a little more of a red hint to it where my blonde highlights were but I expected that. Happy with it especially in the run up to Christmas! My hair feels soft and doesn't feel damaged at all from this dye.

At first, the colour had a strong purple tone before turning to the deep brown shown on the packaging. Unfortunately this deep brown tone only lasted a couple of weeks, and has faded to quite an orangey brown. I have also noticed the texture of my hair is much drier since using this hair dye, even though my routine and products have remained the same. Wouldn't recommend.

The instructions were very clear so you cannot get it wrong. I have used some thick face cream along hairline so I did not get any colour on my face or ears. The colour looks so fresh, even now after few washes. My hair also feels soft, almost like after using a conditioner. And the smell is normal, not aggressive at all.

End result was my hair felt lovely and soft as if it hadn’t been coloured and the colour was rich and looked really shiny. 2 weeks on the colour has stayed true and not felt dry at all like some colour applications can after the initial application. I normally use the black one to dye my hair but i thought why not change colour for once !!! My hair looks and feels lovely and smooth who needs a salon when you can diy at home for a lot cheaper with the same results. I find the process of dying my hair with this kit really easy and not too messy. The conditioner you are given for afterwards is fab and keeps your hair looking new. However, I needn't have worried as I was really pleased with the results. My hair was a lovely colour and left shiny and soft. I've just started getting greys and it covered those too. Next time I would probably use two boxes as my hair is long but definitely pleased with the results!

I loved the conditioner for after rinsing, I wish this was available separately in larger form! My hair was so soft with a beautiful shine after colouring. Colour appears very natural and easy to use. Only downsides were: the smell of the hair dye, barely enough and my hairs only just past shoulder length and the conditioner doesnt feel like it'll last 6 washes (if i remember correctly).

I have natural red tones in my hair meaning if I use a dye with any red in it then so have a tendency to go ginger. With this dye my hair went a beautiful brown that shimmered red/orange tones when under light. The dye itself smells much better than most brands and has a kind of fruity smell to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love using Garnier Nutrisse hair dye, always leaves my hair soft and shiny with out the horrid hair dye smell. This dye leaves your hair feeling amazing and it smells lovely, unlike most hair dyes. Easy application makes it a quick job to change your colour, although as with most dyes longer or thicker hair will require two boxes!

This gave me even coverage and left my hair feeling amazing. It even doesn’t smell too bad either which is a bonus. I applied this myself to my own hair and it was really easy to do. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Nutrisse hair dye in Frosted Chestnut to review, it is not a colour I would have chosen for myself, as it is a darker shade than I normally use. It was easy to use and left my hair conditioned and shinny. The colour is a deep reddish brown, it makes a nice change just right for the winter months.
