I now have very PURPLE hair…not happy!

I had a very bad feeling about this when I saw the depth of purple the colour was quickly developing so washed it off after just ten minutes but alas…the damage was done and I now have very purple hair. I am hoping it fades quickly or will strip out since it wasn’t on long. I am experienced in DIY blonde hair and using toners but this is the worst result I’ve ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product by error as i selected another one but was sent the Olia Metallic silver hair dye for blonde hair.I don't have blonde hair,so couldn't used it myself. But i gifted it to my friend and the result on her blonde hair was very beautiful and she was very impressed on how her hair looked afterwards.She liked that this hair dye didn't has the chemical smell like other products would do.She loves the softness, brightness and the colour contrast she has on her very long hair.It was very easy to use at home and would definitely buy again and surely recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to review this with the fact that one box of hair dye didn't do my hair and I have shoulder length hair
Once opened the box the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
Mixing the mixture wasn't messy and there was no bad smell.
Applying the mixture was fine although as I said I don't think I got the right colour through my hair because it wasn't enough.
There was no bad smell during the applying process which was brill
Washing the mixture out when it was time was fine and the conditioner smelt lovely.
Once dry though, my roots had turned ginger. That is only negative about this but I understand that every hair colour reacts differently to shade.
Overall good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am normally a brunette but decided i needed a revamp. After a lot of bleaching. I finally got to use this hair dye. It could of smelt abit better and it didnt take too well to the bottom half of my hair. But the section closest to my roots it looks amazing. The packing is lovely and its useful that you can stand your product in the box. The instruction are clear and accurate and the products are clear. They could of made the products labelling abit fancier but still the product did its job and i will certainly be using again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been priming my hair to go silver for a while now and this was perfect! I did an allergy test 48hrs before using, behind my ear. My hair was almost white blonde before, I applied with the bottle, massaged in and left it for the alloted time - beautiful silver hair!! My hair also feels in better condition after using the dye than it did before! I was also pleasantly surprised this didn't have an overbearing chemical smell!
Overall it was a super easy process! I'm in love with my new hair!

I doubted that this colour would make any difference. However, what it did was bought out silvery coloured highlights which look really natural and made my whole colour lighter.
Product was easy to use and didn’t make my hair feel like straw after, as some home dyes do. I would recommend this product and believe the affect in lighter blonde hair would be lovely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t used Olia before and was pleased with the ease of use and the lack of mess. The mixing was well thought out and the product didn’t drip or have an unpleasant odor.
The colour rinsed out easily and didn’t leave the shower cubicle messy. The result was good and my hair was silky and well conditioned.
Olia lost a star as the colour was slightly more mauve than silver on my hair (which is coloured pale blonde) that said, I liked the colour overall and call this a good experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is really good.It gives the hair nice silver colour which is shiny and bold.It is easy to apply and can be done on your own.The result is amazing and the hair is not only coloured but also nourished,soft and manageable.The colour is long lasting and doesn’t fade when washed out.This is not my everyday usual colour as it is too bright for me and my age but for a younger woman would be perfect.I still can use it sometimes or when I need a little bit of change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many silver hair dyes and not had many good results, I gave this a try on my very light blonde hair. The results were bright, glossy silver hair, the hair reflects lovely in the lights and so far (6/7 washes) has not showed any sign of fading. There's no unpleasant or over powering smell to the dye and although it comes with plenty of conditioner I did find my hair quite dry after use so I mixed my own conditioner with it. Will definitely buy and recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Olia 9.11 Metallic Silver Permanent Hair Dye is really easy to use with its clear directions and new bottle designs aiding a better grip and easier to squeeze. It is important to do a patch test before any colouring and once completed, you can proceed. The gloves feel comfortable and the mixing stage is easy to follow, before applying to dry/unwashed hair. The non-drip formula saturates the hair really well and the scalp feels comfortable during the colouring process with a light floral fragrance detected. Rinsing the hair dye out of the hair is really quick and the conditioner supplied makes the hair feel moisturised and hydrated. Hair feels smooth and shinier and the colour appears vivid and brings new life to blonde hair! The hair dye will only appear silver on blonde hair shades, if your any darker it may not work.

I recently changed my hair up and decided to really increase my balayage contrast and now I'm almost ombre style contrast of medium to very light but I found I had a lot of trouble getting an ashier style colour to stay with purple/blue shampoo alone unlike the top half of my hair so I decided to just mix it right up again and try a silver since I'd never tried it before.
Like all Olia dyes it smells great, doesn't irritate my scalp, conditioner is excellent but more importantly it covered my sad dry bleached warmish hair and instantly neutralised it and kept it ashy and silver!
I've found this a great base to go forward with purple/blue shampoos and looks really fashionable with it too. There's been no fading and it was easy to apply around my hair without any additional help from another person.

Great colour but it doesn't last more than a week

I have used this 4 times now and I love the colour that I get but it barely stays for a week. The first time i blamed going swimming, the second too much sun. The 3rd time I had no real excuse but thought maybe I washed my hair too soon before I coloured and the 4th time i cant fault my prep or after care and it still just disappears in a week. If it lasted at least 3 or 4 I'd give it 5 stars because as I said i love the colour I get.

Wasn't expecting the slight purple sheen but it is a really nice colour. I love that the olia dyes have no ammonia so feel they are better for my hair and scalp.

Don't get me wrong it is still a really nice colour and the dye doesn't feel like it is killing your hair and still feels hydrated and frizz free.

Two years growing out dark brown to reveal my natural white hair. I just wanted a more silver grey colour & this seemed perfect. Now, my hair is purple. Put a warning on the box clearly stating that this may occur. Having to use awful stripping shampoos now to try & get the purple out
