[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well just tried this hair dye today and am very impressed
The colour chart is very accurate your hair does go the colour it shows
It doesn't have an overpowering disgusting smell that makes you gag and struggle to breathe like other hair dyes
It is easy to apply and the instructions are straight forward to follow
The colour is lovely definitely like this one
If you get it on your skin it's very easy to get off and doesn't stain your skin like other brands
The mixture is very thick and sticky though and can be hard and painful to spread around your hair but a couple of drops of water can fix that.
Think I would definitely use this brand again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I didn't use the hair dye on myself but my partner donated her hair for the campaign but I did all the hard work. So I found the mixing process quick and easy and on an extra note I love the shape of the applicator (very different to other brands). Whilst applying the dye because emmas hair was so dark I found it hard to see what bits I had done but there was so much in the bottle that I got all her head covered no problem at all. 30mins later and although it's not a huge difference there's definitely a copper tint to her hair and also not a 100% of her greys are gone but I'd say a good 95%. Her hair feels amazing and you can't even tell it's been dyed.

I usually use a bright red and wanted to go more copper, and the only reason I used Olia was that it was the only brand on the shelf that did the colour I wanted. I am pleasantly surprised! I always buy two boxes as I have long, thick hair. The dye does have a different feel when you apply it, and for me it took more product to get full coverage- maybe this is why others have experienced patchiness. I think it's more to do with their application/hair condition than the product. I was quite impressed that it even managed to lighten my dark brown roots to exactly the colour on the box! Didn't smell horrible, irritate my sensitive scalp or dye my skin- result! :)
Yes, I recommend this product.

Horrible new formula
Lister

This used to be fabulous, but the new formula is awful. It's super oily, which means you need to be careful in the shower rinsing it out as the floor becomes so slippery from the oil. Colour is also disappointing now. Before with the old formula, I could do my roots and then refresh through the rest of my hair and it was all a beautiful even colour. Now, it's actually a different colour on the ends from the roots, almost like the colour is just not taking on the last 50% down to the ends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is quite good to apply no horrible smell. I fell that there is not enough in the bottle as i have shoulder length hair 1 bottle was not enough so i had bright orange roots and half of my hair was brown.
This colour did not last and washed out far to easily leaving me with multi colour hair. as someone who dyes my hair every few weeks i did not feel that it lasted i have had to colour all of my hair rather then just the roots.i loved the colour just hated the fact it didn't last long it had totally faded by the time my grey roots came through, maybe i applied it wrong i do not know

I didn't purchase this product originally, I had a blonde hair colour which had been sitting in my cupboard for about 2 years and had leaked slightly, I bit the bullet and my friend dyed my hair, it turned ginger. I was horrified at first, but after a couple of days I fell in love with it, since then I have bought this hair colour, it's easy to use and the colour is incredible at the end.
I would have given it 5 stars but it fades too quick. I only dyed my hair about a month ago and already half my hair is my natural colour and the ends are a faint ginger.
I would recommend this product, I've dyed my hair lots of different colours and this one is the only one that suits me. :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have used Garnier Olia let alone intense copper, I normally go for pinks and purples.
I'm now nearly 3weeks into the dye and the colour is as vibrant as the first day.
The packing was of good quality and looked expensive but you will find its reasonably priced, the contents are clearly labelled and the instruction are also clear and easy to use. The conditioner which comes with I was able to use a further 3 hair washes keeping my hair really soft, I was also impressed at the fact when I washed my hair the first few times that the dye wasn't coming out still like some I have used.
I have long hair nearly down the bottom if my back so I would recommend getting two boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was greatly suprised with olia as it said it contained no ammonia so i assumed it wouldnt be that good! Boy was i wrong! Was so easy to mix and the mixing bottle was larger then any other ive used in the past which made it easier again. Application was quick and easy and developement was only 30mins! I have very thick hair so pleasently suprised. I love the colour and the shine is second to none, my hair feel really soft and not dry like most hair colourants. I was very doubtful of this product but through a leap of faith it is now my new brand of hair colourant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice packaging box and contents with easy to understand instructions. Application went on well and covered my medium-long hair with no issues. Was good to have a decent amount of conditioner inside as some give you very little. Not a colour I would use as a rule it came out well and was vibrant. I wash my hair every 2/3 days and it's been 10 days now and the colour is holding strong. Leaves hair soft and shiny, covers grey no problem. Would definitely recommend the product and at a price around £5-£6 definitely worth giving it a go.

Pros: Nice smell, non-sting, creamy consistency. Looks very professionally packaged. Colours ok - quite impressive considering it doesn't contain ammonia! Leaves hair soft and not straw-like as some colourants do.
Cons: Terrible, slippery applicater bottle - it shot out of my hand several times and skidded across the floor! Seemed to take much more on my roots than the rest of my hair and hardly at all on my fringe (I think perhaps that the gel I use on my fringe may have altered its effectiveness?). It has a bit of a reddish tone, which I wasn't expecting as I was hoping for a proper ginger/orange. I have long hair and struggled a bit to spread it down the length due to the thickish consistency.
Despite the cons, I'll certainly give it another shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I had used Garnier Olia and I was genuinely impressed by everything about this product. First of all, the packaging was such good quality and it made the product look like it cost a lot more than it actually did, everything was labelled and the instructions were clear. I liked the pre-cut circle in the box to hold the bottle steady when pouring in the dye. The product had a lovely smell and didn't make my head itchy at all unlike some other dyes on the market. My hair is naturally a slightly auburn colour but I like to bring out a bit more orange and this definitely did the job. I'm two weeks in and the colour hasn't faded at all. Very very happy with Garnier Olia 7.40 Intense Copper Permanent Hair Dye and will definitely be using it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I die my hair quite often and have tried a few of the bold colours from garnier. They cover well but I find the colour isn’t always what is show on the box. There’s always a subtle difference to the shade. I dnt feel it’s a shiny as other brands but I love the different colours they offer. It’s smells nice and the box converts into a bottle holder making it easy to use. I like that it has a reusable tube of conditioner. I only use a little on my ends so it lasts a while an leaves hair feeling salon soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been doing my hair with copper tones for a few years now, I've tried a variety of different brands. I've found this to be the most natural looking out of all, the colour is not too orange but still bright.
After using this my hair looks very healthy, no dullness or any signs of damage. The colour has not faded unevenly or very much at all, my only issue is every time I wash my hair, streams of orange water flow by as if I've just redone it. Despite this the colour is still holding strong.

I had beendying my hair red for years until i saw this onthe zhelf one day. Soi did full head bleach highlights to get rid of most of the red and put this on a couple of days later. Everyone thoght i had it done at a salon as it was different shades and loomed fab. Love this product and it doesn't smell nasty like some hair dyes. Just wish icould afford it when my roots come through as i have to save up to buy it as i don't get that much money. But when i do wait it is worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my lengths and ends after an intense red root smudge and I'm just as impressed. The consistency is spot on as I use a bowl and tint brush - some dyes just go watery but this is creamy and easy to distribute evenly. I also loved that there's no smell. I do not have sensitive skin but sometimes find dyes can feel tingly, but I had none of that with this brand. I love the colour it's come out to as it's just what I was after! Overall thoroughly impressed with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm one of those girls who stick to browns and blondes just to be in the safe side when it comes to colouring my hair. But when I saw this I thought I would take a leap of faith and try it. I am surprisingly pleased with how my good my hair looks and feels! It's not too bright in that it looks fake but it actually looks quite natural. My hair feel extremely soft and nourished. Will definitely be trying more of their range in the future! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dye was okay. The coverage of my previous colour wasn't brilliant. I usually use XXL but I thought I'd try something different, I preferred the shape of the bottles to other dyes I have used. The conditioner for after i had dyed it, left my hair feeling soft and smooth and smelling lovely. I think the coverage would have been better had my hair been lighter before. I'd recommend to someone with lighter hair who wants a change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] time for a change as it's spring, ditch the boring brown and time for some colour. I'm amazed with the end result considering I have hair of all condition.
Perfect even coverage, including all my grey hairs, hair left feeling silk soft and shiny and WOW, it smelt really nice too which some hair colouring products don't. I've found my dye for life, even thought I think I may have to go through the colour scale they offer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tired this colour for the first time. To say I love it is an understatement. This has to be the best coverage of grey that I have ever used. The instructions for use are clear and my hair feels super soft after application. I will definitely buy this again. Everyone is commenting on how intense the colour is and there has been no fading after washing. Only one downfall is that the gloves provided are a bit flimsy.

It's easy to use and my hair looks and feels fantastic. It looks it much better condition that it did before and the colour is gorgeous. Its not a colour i'd have picked forehand but i am set on this being my new colour of choice for the foreseeable future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the colour on the box because I wanted a nice change, I certainly got that alright. It's just as the box says, Intense. Don't get me wrong, if I was much younger, I would absolutely love it but I think I'm a little too old for that vibrant a colour. It is a beautiful colour though, as I say, vibrant and very shiny. It also left my hair feeling soft and gorgeous. Easy to use and doesn't take too long either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, although the box said that the colour would take on brown hair it didn't seem to take at all! It did, however, take to my bleached ends so I've accidently dip dyed my hair instead of going all over ginger which is what I was aiming for when I got the 7.40 intense copper.
The application itself was great and there was no overwhelming smell which is a problem I normally face when dying my hair. The formula was really creamy and I loved the fact that there was the cute feature of making the box into a stand for the applicator as I am more than guilty of accidently spilling hair dye all over my work tops!
Overall I think I'd love to have another go using the Olia colours and maybe go for something closer to my natural hair colour, or perhaps using it as a transition to a darker colour as my hair in its current state was evidently too dark for the colour I got!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried copper hair dye before but I was intrigued so I decided to try the Garnier Olia 7.40 and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely colour and hasn't left my hair feeling brittle as it normally does when I dye my hair (probably something to do with the 60% oils). It's great as you can use it while pregnant as there's no ammonia and I think it's a lovely colour and has lovely coverage. Xxx

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I am reviewing Garnier Olia 7.40 Intense Copper Permanent Hair Dye. The colour is absolutely beautiful, really subtle and only really shows under bright light. Im not sure if this was only relevant to my hair but the colour didn't last. I dyed my hair about 2 weeks ago and it has already washed out. I tried this as a 1 off as I normally dye my hair red but I have recommended this product to friends.

My hair has lots more volume now and is silky smooth. I have a few grey hairs but this product has covered them completely. It was fairly easy to apply too. My hair is shoulder length and there was plenty to cover it all. I will definitely be using this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this product has no amonia and uses natural oils in the dying process to protect your hair. As my hair was dyed dark brown several months ago this gave my hair a nice red hue closer to an auburn colour. I love that it includes a large tube of conditioner for more than one application. I would definately buy this brand although this colour would not be my first choice.

I was so excited to try this colour as I have naturally auburn hair that I wanted to brighten up. So disappointed will not be using again

Only fault is it wasn't quite as vibrant on my hair as I had expected but this could have been due to the condition of my hair or anything. The colour isn't my usual copper and I'm a little unsure if I like it with me being a mid 30's female......hair feels soft, smooth and silky.
