Delicious scent with a lightweight feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I instantly loved the packaging its so cute, looks like a juice bottle or smoothie bottle. The scent reminded me of a watermelon smoothie bought in Thailand, so it was definitely fun to use. The shampoo is a transparent pink/red colour. I felt it foamed up well and was able to wash well. While it did not leave a 'squeaky clean' feeling i can tell that it did take away the excess oils. My hair tends to get oily at the roots at 24hrs but dry at the ends so finding a shampoo that can balance that is hard. My Hair feels light weight and not heavy with some volume. I would recommend this Garnier shampoo.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    MVP shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy grail product for fine hair. Finally a shampoo that actually helps fine hair. I have always been a wash your hair everyday kinda girl. I have tried every volumising, fine hair, oily hair shampoo and have not been able to find one that better washes my hair. After using this for 3 weeks, I’m now a wash your hair every 3 days kinda girl! The smell is quite strong, which not unexpected for a Garnier product, however it doesn’t stay in your hair after washing so I actually found it pleasant. The packaging is excellent and very sturdy. Not to mention also recyclable! I will 100% be buying this again and happily recommend to anyone with oily roots that wants to extend their washes.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Amazing scent and cool packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I saw the bottle for this shampoo, I was instantly in love. The packaging is so cool and funky and is designed to look like a juice or smoothie bottle. The scent is good enough to eat and lingered in the hair after use. The shampoo itself did feel like it cleaned my hair well and was gentle on my scalp. It wasn't drying but also not overly nourishing. One drawback is that the product contains sulfate which is not suitable for keratin treated hair. Overall I would recommend this for most hair types however those with particularly dry or damaged hair might need something more heavy duty.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good for fine hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine, frizzy, wavy hair that gets bogged down easily, especially with products that advertise themselves as "volumising". I found this shampoo to smell very nice and left my hair feeling soft and very shiny and not too frizzy (which often happens with non-salon brands). The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I had to wash my hair the next day as I found my scalp was very oily. It made my curls look quite nice though! Can't beat the price, and as I said it does smell pretty good and that is a big bonus, and it didn't feel like I was using dishwashing detergent on my head.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Watermelon Delight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine and straight hair and often times get oily. I wash my hair every two days or as frequently as needed. The shampoo smelled so fruity and nice just like what a sweet watermelon should be, but with a twist of a candy-like plus bubblegum scent. The scent isn't too strong and eventually diminishes once you washed it off. It's a regular shampoo, in my opinion. It doesn't lather up as much as I wanted it to be, so I really work my way every time I use it. I believe it works well with the conditioner that came along with it. Using it alone made my hair develop more tangles and dry. So, I suggest following it with the watermelon conditioner to get that softer and voluminous effect after.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Better than ever but beware of 'natural' claims.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier definitely upped their game with these new products. As a shampoo it functions well - my hair is softer and more hydrated. It smells divine but as always people sensitive to fragrance should probably go without. I love that they have made their bottles out of 50% recyclable materials (and hopefully 100% in the future). I think it's fantastic that they offer a breakdown of which ingredients are of botanical origin or not on the label however it is a bit misleading. Natural is not always synonymous with good so consumers should be weary about this term. This shampoo still contains sodium lauryl sulphate which more and more producers are formulating their products without. It can be done guys!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Gentle shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells just like watermelon. This shampoo is a little milder compared to most others, a little goes a long way and foams up all through my hair and I've very long hair down to the bottom of my back. I did find I had to wash twice with it being gentler, though it didn't take up any extra time doing so as it washes out good, also it felt kind to my scalp and didn't cause a build up like I get with nearly all other shampoos. My hair was clean and soft after and I didn't feel the need to use a conditioner after the first couple of washes. My hair smelled lovely and fruity after and was manageable when brushing and drying. I've used it on my sons hair since and they've both long hair and they like it too.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Smells Amazing and would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine, slightly wavy coloured dry hair. I found this shampoo lathered up well and definitely made my hair feel nice after the first use! The smell is incredible and definitely found myself reaching for it more. I usually shampoo twice and found on the second time I would only need a tiny bit as this lathered up and went a long way. I would definitely recommend following this shampoo with the matching conditioner. The only reason I chose 4 stars was the size of the bottle, I wish they had a bigger option and I wash my hair every two days and have been going through this quickly!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Average shampoo that just cleans.

This shampoo did its job, but I would not buy it again because: 1. Whilst the watermelon scent was lovely while I was washing my hair, the scent disappeared completely after my hair was washed. Usually, with scented shampoos, you can smell them for a while. 2. The shampoo left my hair clean, but unfortunately, not for long. When I usually wash my hair every third day, then with this shampoo, it felt like I had to wash my hair every day. 3. After the wash, my hair was left limp and close to the scalp; there was no boost as promised. I do like the idea of using different fruit in creating new products and I will definitely try the other ones in the series, but this watermelon shampoo was dissapointing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Excellent Shampoo for fine hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is my favourite shampoo out of the Ultimate Blends as it suits my fine straight hair, it's a clear gel texture, goes on well, lathers up nicely and can easily work it through your hair with your fingers, then it rinses out quickly. Either left to dry naturally or blow dryed your hair is left feeling soft, smooth, and looks healthy with a brightness and shine. It plumps up your hair a little bit so it doesn't look as fine or lanky. It feels lovely and lightweight and swishy. Works great with the conditioner. Lovely pleasant watermelon scent not overly fruity or girly so great for family to use. Love that it is 96% natural ingredients and bottles are 100% recyclable. sustainability is very important.

    Fructis Failure

I really didn't favour this product. I went in with high expectations as the sniff test past and I knew it would be nourishing my somewhat dry hair at the same time. The fragrance was short lived, it did not linger in my hair after use which was a little disappointing given other products have lived to tell the tale. Although it lathered and cleaned my hair with ease, it was not long before my hair felt oily and needed another wash. With long hair, I am looking for a shampoo that will give me at least 2-3 days before my next wash (no additional hair products used during this time). Garnier Fructis Hair Food Watermelon Shampoo did not deliver and I would not personally purchase this for myself and family.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging of this project is very cute; t could even pass as a bottle of smoothie. The scent was an embodiment of deliciousness and I was VERY excited to try the product! However, it wasn't great for my particular hair type: I have particularly quite course and straight hair strands. The shampoo worked well in cleaning my hair but it didn't make it make it shine quite the same way that it does with my usual shampoo. It's a good product but not going to be a staple for me. I would most likey recommend it for individuals with thin hair as per the product's intention.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packaging of Garnier Fructis Hair Food Watermelon Shampoo. It looks like a bottle of watermelon juice, but its shampoo instead The producy is a gel, and is fine hair, promisiing volume! My hair is fine and thin. The product smells lovely, and yes you can smell watermelon. The pale gel lathers up very well and you can shampoo twice if you like, i do as i have a lot of product build up The shampoo cleanses the hair well, leaves it clean, soft and smelling really nice and fruity I would buy again, a great buy, it's vegan formula and recycable packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 98 % of the ingredients in this come from a natural origin and is totally vegan too The fragrance of this smells lush , the sweet fruity smell of watermelon engulfs you as you lather it onto your hair. . . Being silicone free I thought that this wouldnt have the lather that I was hoping for but I was wrong . The shampoo produces a lovely foamy lather which makes your hair and scalp feel squeaky clean results are shown immediately after washing and my hair was left soft, manageable and full of volume! I followed using the ultimate blends hair food 3 in 1

Shampoo that smells as good as a poolside daiquiri

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great new product by Garnier - it's vegan, no nasties and in an eco-friendly bottle, but most importantly it does a great job! It foams really well and my fine hair felt silky and looked healthy after every wash. It's a refreshing scent that does not linger like other chemical-filled products and it rinses out easily leaving no residue. The packaging is tastefully no-frills and the mixture is clear and it feels like it is nourishing my body. I can't wait to see it on the shelves as I can imagine myself sticking with this product for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great smell! It’s clear in colour so can go on any colour type of hair without tinting blondes etc. I found that it thickens and covers nicely and had a refreshing watermelon scent. It doesn’t leave any residue and left hair feeling clean. The bottle and packaging looks a bit like a fruit juice bottle so I’d probably keep it away from the kiddies. The cleanliness is still felt in my hair STILL after 4 days after washing. Definite go to between treatment S & C’s for blondes or chemical damaged hair without stripping or weighing down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s an okay shampoo. Didn’t wow me in anyway. It does a good job of cleaning your hair, but it was a very average product. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks, every 2 days. It Cleans my hair just fine, but the effects do not go beyond cleaning the hair. The shampoo Smells brilliant, but the smell doesn’t last in my hair as well. It is a very forgettable shampoo that does the absolute minimum. If you are looking for a shampoo that cleans your hair this is it. If you are looking for a shampoo that does more, better look elsewhere..

    Silky Smooth and Smelling Sensational

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alike the accompanying conditioner in this line this shampoo smells to die for! After using it for over two weeks the product continues to keep my fine and thin hair looking voluminous yet still silky at the same time. The packaging on the product is also very environmentally conscious and I love how Garnier, a huge brand, are finally taking that into consideration when coming out with new products. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a good staple and loves the scent of Watermelon! Its honestly sooooo yummy!

More than FINE for fine hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with fine hair, it can be hard to find a shampoo that doesn't leave my hair flat and limp at the end of the day. I was pleasantly surprised at how well my hair lasted during the day after using the shampoo. I wouldn't say my hair was the best I've seen it when comparing to other products, but it wasn't oily or in need of a wash after a full day of having my hair out and touching it (that's a win for me). Love that Garnier is using more natural products in their shampoo/conditioners and love that it's vegan too!

    Volumising shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed is that the watermelon scent smells amazing. It has 96% natural ingredients and contains no silicone. the bottle labels all the ingredients and tells you what are natural and what ingredients are not. This shampoo is for fine hair, which i have and is volumising. It doesn't lather up as much as other shampoos. After using this my hair feels so light, it isn't weighted down and there is volume. There is also less frizz. the packaging is bright and comes in 350ml bottle. I would buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very fine, curly has and found this product great on my hair but needed to use a different conditioner as the one that goes with this made my hair way to oily and not volumized at all. Its a great product for the price and is even better as it’s pretty much all natural ingredients, it great how the bottle tells you all the ingredients that are in it and what is natural and what is not. It also has the BEST smell of any shampoo/conditioner I have used. I would definetly recommend this product but would

    Pretty in Pink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly let’s mention the bottle and design itself. It it a good size bottle not flimsy and the lid is secured fast so no worries about it leaking if it was not placed upright. The packaging artwork fits well and is not too cluttered. I especially like the Garnier commitments section - really pleased they are being environmentally friendly. The fragrance is just about right and smells like bubblegum. You can smell the fragrance as it’s being applied and once your hair is dry there is a very subtle smell. The contents itself has a thick consistency and oozes quality throughout. I dry my hair naturally and once dried my hair has a nice glow and isn’t flat. Would definitely recommend this and it fits extremely well with the hair food products. Another thumbs up for the Garnier brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have extremely fine and flat hair. This shampoo was a great addition to my hair care routine as it provided a lovely shine and beautiful volume (with no weigh down) - making my hair look more fuller. My hair also felt soft post wash which was a great addition as my hair can look and feel very brittle and dry. Also, really appreciated the new vegan formula by Garnier! The scent is a big big plus!! So yummy and sweet but not overpowering - a beautiful scent to start the day with, which lasts all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved this product. The packaging made me feel like drinking it and the smell was just divine!! I really enjoyed using this shampoo and felt it made my hair feel clean and smelt delicious. I'm generally quite picky with hair products as my scalp can be sensitive but I had no issues with this product. I was seriously impressed. I highly recommend this shampoo to everyone. My favourite thing about it is definitely the packaging. Super quirky, super cute and very unique! My hair feels clean for a good 3 days which is great as I have quite oily hair so it was great that I didn't have to feel as though I needed to wash it every day or even every 2nd day. Thanks so much to beautycrew who allowed me to be part of this trial! With fine hair, it definitely felt plump and volumised after washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First! I love the amazing sweet smell of it! The sweet watermelon smell reminds me of the candy I used to eat when I was still little. I am happy to find out that the packaging is made from 50% recycled plastic. I hope soon if possible, Garnier can make it 100%? Packaging is very simple and another thing that I love about it is that in the label you can see the breakdown list of all the ingredients and tells you where they come from. The only downfall for me about the packaging is that it is so hard, and I really have to squeeze it hard to get the shampoo out of the bottle. Overall the shampoo worked well with my thin and fizzy hair and I feel my hair more voluminous after use. It feels nice after using it and didn't give me that heavy feeling. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve previously used the conditioner tub that goes with this shampoo was was happy to see the shampoo version. Love the packaging it definitely stands out in shop displays. Love that its natural ingredients and the smell is amazing even after drying you can smell the watermelon. You only need a small amount of shampoo so definitely worth spending extra on this shampoo as it lasts longer than a normal one. Lathered up really well and made my hair feel clean and not weighed down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this shampoo without conditioner and I find it cleans my hair very well without leaving it feeling stripped or weighed down. I wash my hair every 4 days and find that despite not using a conditioner my ends do not look at all dry so find the formula very nourishing. The smell is also very fruity and fresh and does linger on the hair which I personally enjoy. Overall a very nice shampoo to use and it feels good to know it’s 96% natural.

    Smells Heavenly!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was a bit confused due to the packaging (it looks like a smoothie bottle!), but I've grown to really love the product. First off I really enjoyed the smell, never realy been a massive fan of watermelon flavoured things but this just leaves your hair smelling so fresh and devine!! I have very thin hair which dries very easily and normally anything with too much moisture in it results in my hair become flat and greasy. However the garnier fructis watermelon shampoo gives me wonderful texture and volume while still giving me softness and shine. It really is the perfect balance of moisture and and volumising. Pros: - Amazing smell, kept my hair feeling fresh and clean for days -Gives my hair the ability to be more bouncy and have life, without being heavy or full of product -Helped reduce my oily roots in between washes Cons: -None, I love this shampoo!!!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new addition to the hair food range smells amazing, sweet, slightly berry in tone and very fruity like the other varieties. In use, it was easy to lather and quick to rinse away leaving my hair feeling squeaky clean after one wash. After drying it was easy to see it didn't weigh my hair down and my hair did look more than it had before. I'm very impressed with this new variety, it's great to get one for fine hair!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Leaves scalp refreshed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do love this entire range. The shampoo is so gooey and yet fluid enough so that it’s not wasteful with every pump. About two is sufficient for my whole scalp and once I run it through, it works thoroughly to cleanse away the gunk, leaving my scalp refreshed. No tingles or anything like that, but you definitely leave that step in your hair are routine feeling like the product worked and ready to condition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clear packaging and great size bottle. The product looks amazing and it smells amazing. But thats where it ends. You lather up and it behaves like a shampoo but when you rinse and finish and go to dry it leaves your hair feeling heavy and sticky and clumpy like you haven't washed it. Goes greasy within a few hours. Really poor. I've noticed these vegan products are really poor and don't cut it. Do not recommend.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I like this and other garnier ultimate blends is because of the vegan formula. This shampoo foams up and washes great it has a fresh scent however watermelon is not my favourite fragrance. I found no irritation on my sensitive scalp and after using it I didn't feel the need for a conditioner as my hair was lovely and soft. I would buy this shampoo but would prefer a different fragrance

    Yes, I recommend this product.

A fresh start for your hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have massively fine hair so I unsure how this product would help. My hair is usually just wavy and struggles to curl properly when left to air dry. I was blown away after washing my hair with this shampoo and leaving my hair to air dry and watches my curls form properly in front of my very eyes! So this product isn't just for fine hair!! It can be used to help your hair form nicer curls!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is really amazing for fine and dull dry hair. Watermelon smells amazing. I applied a small amount of shampoo and it foamed up well. After washing out your hair is left feeling really clean soft and shine. I am so pleased!! My hair feels ready strong too and it hasn't weighed it down. My hair also has bounce and feels full and smells divine. The plastic bottle is fully recycled.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this shampoo for two weeks now. The packaging is amazing and environmentally friendly which is a massive thumbs up. Although I don’t think visibly my hair looks different it’s definitely feels really good. And smells lovely too. You don’t need to use loads it goes a long way and foams up beautifully. I have been following with the matching watermelon conditioner.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
