[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been lucky to be selected as a product tester for the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Day & Night Serum, and I’ve been very excited as I haven’t used Vitamin C in my skin routine. The serum is very easy to apply. Although one drop wasn’t enough for me, but the liquid product goes a long way! It gets absorbed into my skin fairly quick and makes my face feel nourished. I like how light it is. I do wake up with a fresh feeling face but I’m not sure if brighter. I will however continue to use the product and hope for better results in the long run. I would recommend this serum as it’s a great addition to a skin care routine.

Broke my skin barrier

I bought this product 10 months ago and used it for about 5 weeks. Before buying the product my skin was smooth and essentially the best it's ever been. The reason I bought this product was because I was originally using the 'DAY VITAMIN C SERUM' so i thought that the 'night' version would be better. However during the 5 weeks I noticed my skin getting progressively worse, originally I thought my skin was just getting used to the product. However that was not the case, I later found out that my skin barrier was broken. I then used only moisturiser on my skin and the acne is still there and hasn't gone for the past 10 months.
No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier anti dark spot serum, I was dubious as to wether this would work but have been really surprised by the results in only 1 week of applying. My dark spots have definitely faded and my skin tone looks move even. It is a non sticky formula which is quickly absorbed which is good as I apply it before going to bed. Also I have noticed that my skin feels more hydrated in the morning and I haven’t needed as much daily moisturiser. My skin also feels firmer. I especially love how the added vitamin c is “Pure”. I will continue to use this product and would recommend it. If I had to find a negative for me then it would be the fragrance but I think that is personnel choice.

The day serum with salicylic acid and niacinamide is a great combo to tackle spots and help with oil too. Only dislike I had was once I used SPF (which I use daily) over this day serum my skin would accumulate a build up causing piling. The night serum on the other had did not cause piling. It was easy to apply, had a lovely citrus scent to it but not too strong. It contains a good percentage of vitamin c and it has faded some of my stubborn hyperpigmentation marks and improved my skins complexion and texture. Overall I my fave of the two would be the night serum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Garnier Vitamin C brightening serum whilst does seem to brighten the skin it is not suitable for sensitive skin.
My lips and eyelids were particularly prone to flaring up when applying this serum. At first it was used as a part of my normal skincare routine then I thought as I was on my period and already flaring up I used it on its own but it still seemed to dry and flake my upper lip.
I avoided those areas best I could but it didn’t help. As the product intended my skin seems less dull but I’m not quite sure about the fine lines and dark spots. I think I will use it once a week to give it a fair chance from now on and to see if I can gain long term benefits.

It's a little watery but that's ok, it sinks into your skin easily and leaves no residue. Did I experience the after 3 nights your skin looks more brighter and well rested effect? No so I've taken a star off. It took a good couple of weeks to see a difference but everyone's skin is different.
I wouldn't say the difference was mind blowing but it was enough for me to go to work not wearing make up as usual and someone compliment my skin asking if I was wearing tinted moisturizer or foundation for a change.
It feels nice on your skin.
The smell is a bit off but soon goes.
Don't forget your spf the next day.
Doesn't oxidise and go brown like some other brands.

My skin can look quite tired and dull and I don’t usually feel comfortable without foundation, but since using this for a week I haven’t used any face makeup and have had several compliments from friends and family about how ‘glowing’ I look!
It’s lightweight, easy to dispense and sinks into the skin really quickly. The only downside is that it smells a little bit metallic, but once you put your moisturiser on and wash your hands you can’t smell it. Overall I’m really impressed with this serum and I’m sure it’ll be a product I’ll continue to repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin normally doesn't like products with vitamin C in them and I was hesitant to try this new serum from Garnier. The facts that it has additional hyaluronic acid and it is designed to be used as part of your night time skincare routine might just did the magic. I have been using it just over 10 days and can already see a different in the tone of my skin. It looks more even and brighter. I like the smell of the product and it did not irritate me like some other Vitamin C serums did.
I gave 4 stars as it doesn't feel hydrating enough for me. That is a personal observation and I am using a slightly richer moisturiser with it at the moment which does help. I would definitely recommend it.

It made it have a lovely glow, feel soft , toned and brightened my complexion & sunk into my skin really well as it had a chance to do so overnight. I have recommended it to my sister who has problems with both acne and dry skin as the hyaluronic acid in it is hydrating but it will help with the spots/ dehydration. I love the fact that it is overnight as this helped me to remember to do it as I often forget during busy mornings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The serum is pleasant to use, 3 or 4 drops from the built in dropper is enough for face and neck. Upon application the serum feels slightly tacky on the skin but within a few seconds is absorbed leaving skin feeling smooth and soft. There is a slight smell after application, but I know this is the vitamin c reacting with the skin as I’ve used similar products before and had the same smell. Overall it’s a nice product to use, but I’ve only been using it for a week so far and I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in my pigmentation. Hopefully with a longer period of use this may change.

I have been using this product for three months now and see no difference in my skin even though it clearly says on the box that you should see a difference within three days. It also causes my skin to break out. I do not recommend it.

As it says on the box, it will feel tacky for a few minutes and then my skin felt soft and smooth. The first thing I noticed after i applied the serum for the first time was my frown lines seemed to lessen dramatically! After a couple of nights forgetting to use the serum and they are back in full force! These are lines that i hate so i won't be forgetting again. I wouldn't say my skin looked brighter or skin tone evened after weeks of using but i like how it appears to be working on fine lines and making my skin softer.

I also admire the easy application it offers as all it takes is a few drops and the serums texture I found wasn’t too thick or too thin.Overall, I definitely recommend adding this to your skin care routine if you are struggling with dark spots or even wanting a bit of shine to your skin.

Secondly, as detailed within the product description it does feel a bit sticky upon initial application, however that only lasts a short time and after that my face felt a little tight. The biggest plus I have for the product is how good a base it makes for adding your night cream, it really felt as though it allowed it to soak in. I am yet to see any improvement in my skin radiance, appearance of fine lines and dark spots or skin tone evenness and smoothness, however I have only been using it for a week of so, so time will tell.

Feels non oily, skin is a little bit sticky when first applied but absorbs in well after a few seconds then it is ready to add moisturiser on top. I have 1 or 2 age spots & freckles which have decreased in appearance. I love that this is targeted for use at night as I like a minimal routine for daytime. The reason for only a 4 star rating is that I find I need to use almost double the recommended drops as it absorbs extremely fast & doesn’t spread well. This may be just my skin type but as such, the bottle wouldn’t last as long as I would like.

The layer well with other products and have an invisible finish. I also found that I had less blemishes after regularly using these products. I was impressed with the recyclable, uv resistant packaging which prolongs the effective life of vitamin c. It's a lovely product to use if you want to try vitamin C in your routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these products had me confused for a little while! When I woke up after using the night serum, I looked in the mirror and thought "Wow!" I looked like I had colour and my skin looked healthy, where as usually I look pale and washed out. Both serums absorb into the skin beautifully and although they are slightly thicker than my usual serum, they don't feel heavy or greasy. The day serum sits well under my make up. I noticed the first day after using the serums, that there was a slight fake tan smell in the air and as the days went on, it didn't go away.... So I think that maybe the secret? A small amount of gradual tan in the night serum? I'm for it anyway... There was zero streaking and it looks really natural! This is a product I will definitely buy again!

You can just put a few drops right on your face and then massage it in. Face feels a bit clammy after so you have to wait a couple of minutes for the serum to completely soak in before applying a moisturiser. Although I have not noticed any change in my skin tone yet, my face feels really hydrated after each use. I love the scent and the easy application so I will add it to my skincare routine and would recommend the product.

They have such a lightweight texture and both the serum is now part of my daily skin care routine. They doesn’t feel sticky or tacky on the skin and they do absorb really well and quickly into the skin. My skin feels instantly softer and plumped after use. I also noticed that these serums helped to reduced the appearance of my dark spots and my skin looks more brighter and radiant. The serum is infused with is Vitamin C, Niacinamide & Salicylic Acid and they do have brightening properties. This serum is suitable for sensitive skin, it didn’t break me out or caused any irritation. The serum is also oil free and it creates a smooth base for your makeup. I would highly recommend both the serums.

This made it really easy to get correct desired amount of the product out of the bottle. Serhan had a pleasant scent, not too overpowering, which was great as it was being applied to my face. I would say after maybe a week of using the serum I did start to notice that my eyes were starting to brighten up. This is definitely a product which I will keep in my beauty regime, especially as I like the fact that I can apply just before bed

My skin felt intensely hydrated and smooth. My skin tone has been evened out and my face is more radiant then ever before.
Also knowing that this product is kind to our planet and cruelty to animals free makes this Serum the best, in my eyes, on the beauty market.

It has a light texture and absorbed quite quickly. I continued to apply it most evenings (had to have a break due to an allergic reaction to something else) and could see that after a few days my skin looked more smooth and even, which is exactly what the packaging days to expect!
I will definitely continue using this serum and will definitely be purchasing it when this bottle runs out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly I am a massive Garnier product fan so I had high hopes for this product based on others I have used and the claims on the packaging.
However, after two weeks use I can barely see any difference unfortunately despite applying as directed.
On a positive note the product packaging mentioned it may be slightly sticky when applied which I did not find at all. It was in a nice dropper bottle, easy to get the right amount and went on very nicely. I actually prefer it to other similar serums!
I would say I think my skin looked slightly brighter after around two weeks of use but very little change and I don’t think there had been any change to dark spots or fine lines I have. That said, I am going to keep going as I am hoping with longer use the results will be more visible!

Once used, hands will be sticky so have to wash them afterwards. Also, I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not but from night one of use, the edge of my top lip is so dry and chapped with red line like winter dryness. It doesn’t bother me but seems to be persistent so far with use. I cannot confirm if it’s a coincidence still. Otherwise skin is firm and much more alive.

Is a concentrate of 10% vitamin c.
You use it on a night which I've not used before, my regular Vit c has always been mornings. However I have had good results.
It has a really pleasant scent and spreads over the face really easily. It absorbes quite quickly and doesn't feel tacky. My skin does look more smooth and I do believe a few dark patches are starting to lighten. I can't wait to see longer term results.
It's Crueltyfree and vegan that's always a bonus too.

The first thing I noticed about this serum is its nice fluid texture, which made it easy to apply. The serum absorbs quickly and it's absolutely fine to wear under make up. The Night Serum leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It's still too early to clearly see if it has reduced any dark spots, but I think I can see a small difference already so I'm excited to see what will happen with continued use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always admired and used Garnier products and this combo is definitely a worth addition to my skin routine.
The day serum contains Vitamic C, Niacinamide and Salicylic acid. Niacinamide helps protect skin barrier by not letting it lose moisture. While salicylic acid helps unblock blocked pores. Serum felt very light weight, non greasy and easily absorbed in the skin.
Night serum contains vitamic C and Hyaluronic acid which helps reduce pigmentation marks and brighten the skin. I could see a reduction in pigmentation marks and my skin looks more brighter now. I will continue using it for long term results.
Love the fact all garnier products are vegan. And the bottles are made from 25% recycled glass. The products are fit for all skin types and are dermatologically tested. Value for money too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first started using this product I was a little skeptical as it stated; After one night your skin looks smoother, suppler, revitalised and rested. I thought that's a bold claim but since using it for two weeks my skin does look revitalised, rested and even brighter.
I have noticed its helped with my redness too, which I usually use makeup to cover. I don't feel as self-conscious to go out makeup free now, I've had comments from family saying my skin looks glowing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light fragrance. It's water based gives an instant glow on application. As it is a night serum I would prefer an oil base. Although this is 10% and their day serum is 3% I would happily use this during the day. I like that it contains hyaluronic acid. There is no pilling. I have had no breakouts. A review has been requested too soon for me to comment on any effect on skin radiance / fine lines / dark spots / skin tone as effects are not expected for 2 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed that Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Night Serum has a combination of 10% pure vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. I used to use two separate vitamins C and Hyaluronic acid serum. Now I can use one serum with a combo of two!
This serum makes my skin even and softer. After every use, my face skin is left hydrated!
I recommend Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Night Serum to those who want to reduce pigmentation, brighten or moisturise their skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve not used this type of product before so wanted to try. Feels nice on the skin, didn’t get any peeling but it did feel slightly sticky for a bit.
The first use I felt as though my skin still needed moisturiser so I have been putting that on as well after.
I’ve been using for about a week now and I’ve not seen any difference in the few brown spots that I have on the side of my face and my wrinkles still look the same, maybe it take a bit longer of using.

I have been using both products for 2 weeks, my skin already looks and feels brighter and smoother! Also both products absorb amazingly into the skin!
The Vitamin C serum that is used on a morning has 3.5% Vitamin C, Niacinamide & Salicylic Acid!
The Vitamin C serum Night has 10% PURE VITAMIN C+ HYALURONIC ACID
Both products are absolutely amazing! I absolutely love Garnier skincare

Bought this today and I really like it. I have oily skin that can be dehydrated and I find this works quite well with my skin. I haven't experienced any irritation. I've had it on today and already I can tell the difference, my skin is brighter, looks healthier and my pores are reduced. It smells very nice, the texture is nice and it feels refreshing on my skin. Surprised by how well this works for my skin.
