Didn't workout in my skin

As someone said, I started using the product beginning of May, decided to try this product because I use the carbon mask and it's really good for my pimples. But when I started using this cream, my face started to purge pimples, I thought it's because I'm more anxious at but they were popping out on my face every day . I thought that it was normal to purge when you start using a new product for skin with acne but after a month the pimples didn't stop and my scars remained red. So I will stop using this product and back to my old one that didn't make pimples appear on my face skin. I was really excited when I read the reviews on the product. But it didn't work out for me and I ended up really disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture is slightly gloopy but not in an unpleasant way, and the scent is slightly like charcoal but again- not unpleasant. A little goes a long way with this product- meaning it’s great value for money, you only use a few squeezes of the pipet per application. The consistency is slightly sticky and leaves a bit of a sticky residue on your skin, but for the results it gives it’s definitely worth it and didn’t bother me. My skin feels fresh and pores appear smaller after around 1-2 weeks of use. My skin has had less blemishes which I think is due to the niacinamide content. Recommend if you don’t mind the sticky residue and consistency!

I bought this product beginning of July, because I had a few blemishes in my face. When I started using the product my face started to purge pimples were popping out everywhere on my face. I thought that it was normal to purge when you start a new product, but after a month the pimples did not stop. I decided to stop using the product and my face is healing up now. I was really excited when I read the reviews on the product. But it didn't work out for me. Really disappointin your product.

Great serum .
My skin type is mature sensitive combination skin.
I was scared at first to use it, the serum is black which surprised me . My skin is sensitive so I cautiously applied it with the dropper supplied, it rubs in easily ,mattifying my skin and drys in quickly leaving skin smooth.
The product has a fresh clean smell but this isn't strong or over powering.
My skin is ageing and I have noticed that over the last few days my face is smoother pores appear tighter.
It works especially well on breakouts, reducing the redness,calming them down.
Love this product will recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has seriously impressed me. It says that it improves skin texture and I was a little sceptical but after a few days of applying this serum I am shocked that I could see a visible difference after such a short time.
My skin has been awful in the hot weather and I can definitely see this serum improving that and smoothing out the texture.
It smells lovely and has a nice pipette to drop it onto your face. I apply it morning and evening and add a few drops around my face before massaging in.
It’s only been a few days and as I said, I am impressed. I will continue to use it and hopefully will see more improvement.

I received this 4% AHA + BHA & Niacinamide Charcoal Face Serum from Garnier community to test and review.
This is my first time trying this charcoal serum and I was so excited as I wanted to see the results on myself.
This product comes in a 30ml see through glass bottle with a piplet which is of course super easy to use as you just need few drops and apply to dry skin.
This is an Anti Blemish serum which visibly reduces blemishes minimises pores and mattifies skin.
I first used this product the I got this and have been using it everyday and I’ve seen a huge result, this definitely does help with blemishes and pores.
This product is suitable first sensitive skin

Its a decent size bottle of serum and although it is dark in colour this isnt visible when applied. Its a very thin serum that absorbs quickly and left my skin feeling hydrated for hours.
It has a very fresh and clean scent which was the only downside for me as i personally prefer more floral scents but thats just a personal choice.
I would very much like to see this range expand in terms of percentages of strength and ingredients but this is a very nice serum for those starting out their acids/niacinamide skincare journey's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this serum!! I was a bit hesitant as I know AHA/BHA can be a strong combination, but wow my skin has never looked so good! I have rosacea, mainly oily skin (can be a bit dry at times across my nose) and blemishes that take ages to heal and leave pigmentation marks. After using this serum for a couple of weeks my skin doesn’t seem so oily anymore, the rosacea seems to have calmed down across my cheeks, not so much in my chin, but that’s ok!! I do use the serum twice a day and is now something I am going to keep in my daily skincare routine. It doesn’t have any nasty smells/fragrance, doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy either. 100% recommend to anyone with oily skin!

I am so impressed with this serum! First of all lovely and hygienic packaging, very pleasant and fresh scent! Easy to use and absorbed quickly! I really enjoyed testing this Garnier AHa + BHA charcoal Serum! Already after first use I noticed my skin was less oily. I have been applying every evening after cleansing my face. Black liquid but when you apply it's clear on your skin! Best thing for acne prone skin I have ever used! I noticed it reduced the appearance of my pores and my skin looks and feels smoother. I replaced my night cream and never looked back! I will definitely buy this again and it is now part of my evening self care routine Top product! Luxurious feeling on the skin!

I was lucky to received to try in order for my honest opinion as I am part of the Garnier community, the packaging looks great love the dropper for dispensing the product, initially when I first started using the colour black was a shock but this is a thin solution and is easily absorbed into the skin, product is not a highly scented product and this sinks into the skin beautifully, aha & bha & niacinamide with charcoal etc, I really like this product my skin feels and looks much clearer to minimise pores, blemishes reduced another fantastic product from Garnier a brand that I love and trust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked it, it was ok but I didn't love it. I wasn't keen on the smell of it at all, it put me off wanting to use it to be honest. I also thought it was quite sticky even though it claims it isn't. It does eventually dry and feels lovely and smooth, maybe I was putting too much on and that is why it felt sticky whilst applying. I did have a break out whilst testing it but that wasnt due to the serum. I probably would recommend it to others because my skin did look and feel amazing (when it was clear of spots). Personally I don't think I will purchase again just because of the scent.

This is my first product trial as a member of the Garnier community page. I received this free of charge to review.
I am going through the menopause and my skin has become very prone to break outs again. So this product was welcomed although I was a bit surprised by the black colour🤣 but that was eased as the serum melted into my skin and the black disappeared. I have added this to my might time routine and my skin feels smoothed and calm. It's early days as to how well it will help with my spots but I definitely feel that it's non greasy texture is going to be a winner.

🖤 The serum contains many great active ingredients, like AHA + BHA (Salicylic Acid) acids and niacinamide, to name a few.
🖤 It's supposed to target dull and uneven skin texture. It's suitable for all skin types: blemish-prone, acne-prone, and sensitive.
🖤 After the first use, my skin felt purified and looked matte. Two weeks of testing have made my skin look a bit brighter and smoother. The serum didn't irritate my sensitive skin.

It soaks in well and does make my skin feel softer and tighter, but there hasn't been a vast improvement with the appearance of my skin. It lightened under my eyes and the red blemishes on my skin slightly, but not very noticeably. I will keep using the product, even if it simply makes my skin feel softer and tighter, but hope with continued use it might make more of a difference to my blemishes. A little does go a long way and it only takes a short time to apply, so it doesn't change the timing of my routine much.

It feels silky on my skin while rubbing it in and it absorbs easily without feeling greasy or sticky. Now to what I didn't like. I've used this for 3 weeks, just over a week in my skin on my nose and forehead started to dry out but I carried on using it as this was the only negative effect. As I carried on little bits of my skin became flakey, I've never suffered from dry skin on my face before. I wouldn't use this serum again

Wow it’s something very different I've never used a serum like this one. It's black, has a light serum-like texture that's very unique to me, and comes in a 30ml recyclable bottle with a dropper. It absorbs well without being sticky or oily and adheres to the skin quite beautifully. It helps minimise blemishes, enhance the appearance of lingering marks, and resurface the skin for a smoother and more even appearance because of its formula which contains; AHA + BHA, Charcoal, and Niacinamide.

I have to say that unfortunately I was underwhelmed by the performance of this product. Though it was hydrating, easy to apply and dried quickly, I didn’t notice any differences in my pores and (combination) skin after over 3 weeks use. Wasn’t impressed to see denatured alcohol so high up in the ingredients list either. On a brighter side, I absolutely love the packaging this product came in. The pipette is well functioning and easy to dispense product out of. I will definitely re-purpose mine for evening hair oils or other serums.
I’d like to see the product with an improved and healthier ingredient list but for now, I don’t intend to re-purchase the product.

First of all, I really liked the appearance, it looks luxurious and I do love when products come in the glass bottle. The scent is quite minty, which makes skin feel refreshed. I have got dry skin with blemishes, large pores and blackheads. This serum doesnt dryness my skin and absorb quickly and well. I use it only one time per day, only on evening. Dont leave charcoal colours on face so dont need wonder about this. Leave skin smooth and look better so its really good product and worth to try.

I have suffered from blemishes and breakouts like always as I have oily skin. This garnier serum helped my skin so much with the blemishes and blackheads and also post acne marks. It helped exfoliate my skin gently that reduced acne marks quickly. It feels hydrating on skin and prevent future breakouts. In my opinion it has perfect portion of active ingredient that works gently on skin without irritation or discomfort. One thing I was afraid of it will leave a tint of black on my face but that just a myth and it doesn’t work like that.

It's great for my oily sometimes spot prone skin, especially during the recent heat wave. I was lucky enough to test this serum. First impression - great packaging. It is super easy to apply and get just the right amount. Does it work? Definitely. I often struggle with breakouts and since first use the difference was really visible. My skin was much smoother, red spots started to disappear. I was surprised how quickly it worked. Charcoal products often have not very pleasant smell but I liked the one of the serum. I definitely recommend it to anyone struggling with getting clear skin and I will continue to use it!

Although thicker than serums i've used in the past it applies really well without leaving a sticky residue on your face. Your skin feels really soft after use and it really adds glow to your complextion. It also smells nice. You only need a little and you can feel it helping your skin and you can notice the benefits of using it too. My facial skin has improved massively since using this and i cannot recommend it enough!

In terms on consistency, it feels a bit like a runny-ish pva glue but its relatively easy to apply and doesnt leave your skin feeling sticky or anything.
In terms of effectiveness , I didn't find it that useful for my skin. If anything, I got an extra spot that wasn't there before I tried the product - not sure if its a coincidence or due to the product as I stopped using it afterwards and my spots slowly clearing.

I bought this after seeing a few tiktoks about it, and wanted something I could grab from my local shop (typically order skincare online, or at a busy shopping centre). While it makes my skin visibly less oily after application, I haven't yet felt the benefits of this in the long run, and I've been using it for well over three weeks now. My other holy grail AHA & BHA serum's benefits can be seen within a week... I actually feel like I've been breaking out more, and this is the only thing I've done differently with my skin care.
The smell is typical Garnier .. not bad but just standard Garnier smell.
For the price point, I just don't feel like it's worth it. I've already bought something else to replace this and only about 1/4 through the bottle. It's a pass for me.

I was sent this product for free by #mygarniercommunity to test a review and was very impressed.
It applies beautifully. Not too runny and not sticky at all. There is a mild scent which dissappears once absorbed.
Easy to apply my normal makeup on top after using in the morning too.
I noticed my pores did shrink slightly around my problem areas so can imagine this would continue with more use. My skin did feel a little tighter too across my forehead and cheek area.
It's a great addition to any skin care routine.

I received this product for free from the garnier community and I’m really enjoying using it so far, it’s really different with it being black in colour which I find really cool! This doesn’t turn your face black though so don’t worry lol. I am 29 and never had acne growing up but by my early 20’s I was having breakouts weekly. This product has so far helped keep further breakouts from happening but also kept current breakouts calmer, at bay. It fits in well with the rest of my skincare routine too which is a must.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely wasn't sure what to make when I got this; it was black in colour so made me wonder will my face be covered in charcoal.
I was so wrong have been using this daily morning amd evening and it makes my face literally happy I have noticed alot of difference to my spots reducing and skin feeling extra hydrated
I include this in my daily cleansing routine and will continue to do so
It does feel a little greasy on hands once you have applied fo the face but the face doesn't feel greasy odd I know but I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AHA & BHA serum has been lovely for my blemish prone skin, the serum bottle Is really nice and it easily dispensed the product. After a couple of weeks of using this charcoal serum I found that my skin is less oily and smoother in appearance. I also like the fact I can see my pores reducing in size. I have to say im not really a fan of very fragranced prodcuts but this serum didnt irritate my skin or cause any breakouts and it does smell lovely. I'm excited to see more results over time of using this serum.

I was given this as part of the Garnier community in exchange for my honest feedback. I was very hesitant at first as I was worried the black serum would stain my face, but I can confidently say it didn’t leave a mark at all. The serum comes in a glass bottle with a pipette to easily apply the product to my face. The serum is lightweight and quite thin in consistency but not to thin that is runs down your face. It stays in place for you to apply and rub in where desired . It has a faint scent which I didn’t mind and it easily absorbs into the skin. I used this over a few weeks and noticed my skin is clear and soft with a more even tone to it . I had no issues applying my make up and it staying put and it didn’t irritate or dry out my skin and my pores do seem less visible.

I Really like this serum and have loved using it since the first application. What I like most about it is that it mattifies my skin. I am so fed up with serums that leave my skin shiny, glittery or oily looking so I am super happy with the effect this has. The serum is very gentle and it leaves my skin feeling comfortable and hydrated. It is a fabulous make up base and even though I have only used it for a short time my skin looks clearer and more balanced. I also think it has improved the look of my pores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product comes in a bottle with a pipette for application which makes it easier to get the desired amount. With it being charcoal, it is black but when you apply it, it becomes clear on your skin. It also has a really nice fragrance which surprised me. It is not too runny so it doesn't go everywhere, the consistency is just right. I found before using this product I had a few blemishes on my cheeks but after using for 3 weeks the blemishes had gone and haven't returned. My skin feels a lot smoother too
