Bought this cleanser with the purpose of reducing dry/oily skin and instead I come out with a swollen and itchy red face straight away. I thought I was probably using this product wrong as the product said it is ideal for people with sensitive skin? (which I do not have regardless).. however since researching this product after using I have seen several reviews complaining how harmful this product is and I'm not sure why it is still advertised when it is causing more damage than good? I'm quite shocked as well as I have always used Garnier and have not had anything negative to say until now.. Please please do not buy and do your research before purchasing which is what I should of done!

Not soothing and not for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would classify my skin as normal leaning towards the dryer side in colder weather and can be slightly sensitive and this cleanser did nothing to help the appearance of feel of my skin.
The cleanser itself is a thin cream conscitency that is easy to rub into the skin and smells of aloe Vera.
After rinsing off my skin felt tight and stripped which was surprising considering the soothing name of the product,after looking in the mirror my skin had some red areas too which was not there before using this product so I will not be using again as there was no benefit for my skin from this cleanser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trying out the Garnier Skin Active Soothing Hyaluronic Aloe Cream Cleanser for the last few weeks, and so far I'm loving it! It gets rid of all my make up, moisturisers, sun screens and daily dirt and grime, all whilst making my skin amazing and feeling soft. The formula is really gentle, foams up lovely, and has caused no issues to my skin. I lovethe bottle as the pump makes it so easy to use when you have wet hands, meaning I don't constantly drop in when I'm in the shower or bath. It's really affordable, ans the size of the bottle makes it great for taking on holiday or to the gym. I love it! The only thing this doesn't remove is my mascara, but I use waterproof ones, so basically nothing can remove those, lol

I bought this product even after reading the negative reviews as I always like to explore products myself to get an opinion. However, on this occasion please take note and trust the reviews. I had NEVER reacted to anything on my skin, yet this flared up an itchy rash over my face and neck. I do NOT have sensitive skin and would hope this product gets recalled due to the severity of people's reactions. If I could give this a zero star rating i would. Avoid avoid avoid. There are many cheaper and better alternatives!

The cleanser itself is really gentle on the face and removes all traces of make-up without needing to clean twice, Before using this cleanser my face was starting to look and feel really dry and I'm pleased to say that my skin has definitely improved since using this.

It’s not an overly foamy product but one squirt from the bottle is enough to wash and clean your face. It has a slight fresh smell but not heavily perfumed or overly synthetic. With many face washed I find my skin feels tight and itchy so I need to apply moisturise straight away. With this it felt soft and slightly moisturised already, although I did use more moisturiser later. I’d happily use and purchase this product again

Really refreshes your skin and leaves your skin very soft with the added bonus of having aloe vera. It is not a thick cleanser and you only need a small amount and it absorbs very quickly into your skin. I used this for just over a week and really noticed the difference. It sadly wasn't as hydrating as I'd hoped. My face felt clean and it removed makeup well, but I wish my skin felt soothed after using it - instead, it felt like it needed moisturiser straight away. I'll use it when the weather gets hotter as my skin is usually oilier in summer, and see how it works then.

I’m a big fan of Hyaluronic products and this cleanser works great on my skin!
Personally I like to lather up the cleanser in my hand, and then apply to my face, rubbing in circular motions and paying extra attention to my nose area.
I always make sure to work the cleanser in for several minutes to get the most effective results, and of course - once you’ve washed it off - do it again! Because a double cleanse is the best way to get clear smooth skin!
After using this for over a week now my skin feels super soft and has a lot more radiance to it than normal (well, as much radiance as a pale girlie can get!) My Nose is looking clearer of pesky clogged pores and my make up settles much better on my skin!
I highly recommend this cleanser as part of a daily/nightly routine if you’re looking for softer, clearer skin!

By this, I mean that it smells fresh and healthy! I have some skin sensitivity and this didnt aggrevate it, instead leaving my face cleansed, supple and bright. Combining it with the deep cleanser addresses that and afterwards feels completely clean. My only negative was my skin did feel quite dry afterwards, but this was easily addressed with my serum and moisturiser.

A little goes a very long way, and it lathers up very well. After, my skin feels ok, but I still have to use a serum and moisturiser. But overall, I think it’s very good.

However it is pretty hard to wash off with just water, I end up feeling a little sticky and have to rinse again. Using a flannel when rinsing helps. My skin did purge a little when I started using this but has settled now after 3 weeks.

It wasn't as creamy as I expected and didn't moisturise my skin as much as my normal cleanser. The cleanser is formulated for dehydrated skin and gently cleanses, hydrates and soothes the skin while protecting the skins natural barrier, it is also pH neutral to the skin. This Microbiome friendly and dermatologically test cleanser is also cruelty free and vegan with a 98% biodegradable formula.
Thoughts - With its gentle cream texture the cream emulsifies when combined with water on the skin, after being rinsed off the skin is left feeling clean and hydrated, there is no skin tightness and the cleanser feels very caring on the skin, I have quite a dry T-zone and after just a few uses this area felt a lot better and more hydrated. This cleanser has been an absolute pleasure to use and will be one added to my shipping list for future use.
Use - apply to wet skin and gently massage in before rinsing off, use twice a day, morning and evening for best results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently tried this cream cleanser since I wanted to boost my skincare routine and prioritise taking off my makeup at the end of the day! This has slotted into my routine nicely and my skin feels great after using, the added Aloe definitely feels soothing and I will continue to use it as part of my daily routine!
