Step 1: Begin by wetting your hair thoroughly with water.

Step 2: Lather a generous amount of Garnier Fructis Normal Strength & Shine Shampoo in your hands.

Step 3: Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp, working up a rich lather.

Step 4: Rinse out the shampoo.

Step 5: For best results, apply and lather the shampoo a second time.

I purchased this product recently as I stopped using Garnier shampoo and conditioner a few years ago when you changed the formula. I have to say this is the worst shampoo I have ever used. It irritated my scalp and made my hair brittle and it started falling out. A number of years ago Garnier products were so popular in the supermarket and and always sold out. They are now on the bottom shelf and hardly anyone buys them likely because the product just keeps getting worse and worse. Your product development team should think about going back to the original Normal Shampoo and Conditioner formula, am sure it would do wonders for sales.

Mouldy grapefruit smell

Have been using this product for over 10 years and recently purchased a bottle to replace the one that had run out. Your "new formula" seems to have resulted in a change of scent as well. What was once a fresh apple aroma now smells disgustingly like rancid grapefruit. The smell lingers all day. Will be throwing out both shampoo and conditioner and buying another product. Can't deal with the stench.

I tried this recently at a relative's house and was pleasantly surprised. I usually use a salon brand but thought I might try to save some money and give this a go.. 2 weeks in and so far pretty good. Fingers crossed it's a keeper.
