Hi. I'm a fan of your products. This is my third time buying the pure active 3 in 1 charcoal ask and everythime I buy it, something is different. It's either the packaging, consistency, name etc. And for someone who's struggling to maintain their skin, this is a concern for me. Is there a way one can tell the real original product? There's just so many variants and it's not cool.

I trialled this product as both a wash and a mask over two weeks. I love how well the charcoal got into my pores and removed the excess oil and dirt build up from the day. As an avid makeup wearer, a makeup wipe doesn't always cut it to remove the foundation. Using this 3 in 1 Garnier Wash, Scrub and Mask I felt at ease knowimg my pores were not being left clogged. \n\nBe aware not to overuse this product. Especially as a mask, but if you use as directed and ensure to moisturise after wearing it as a mask you won't have any issues. Use as directed and you wont be disappointed! I would definitely buy and use this product again.\n

i love the versatility of this product, In my thirties i find it a great once a week mask to strip all impurities and clear away any blackheads that may be forming, however my teenage son is using it daily as a wash and it really has cleared up his acne prone skin, his skin does not look anywhere near as oily as it did prior to him commencing with this product as part of his daily routine. My sensitive skin has not had a problem with it at all, and my chin which has always been the most blackhead prone place on my face is nearly 100% clear. I am confident recommending this to any age group if they have similar acne concerns.

I used the product as a mask 3 times a week and it is great if you are wanting to give your skin a good clean or detox as i felt it cleans deeply, gives you a nice cool feeling and draws out excess oil from the skin leaving it feeling fresh. Personally I have oily to combination and sensitive skin, I would definitely recommend using a moisturizer after using this product and it can tend to leave your skin slightly dry. This product is great if you are travelling as it is a 3 in 1 and I also used it before a shower so as it was easier to was off without the mess. I would purchase this product again especially when I am in need of a mask for a good detox.\n\n

Really enjoyed reviewing this product!\nI was already using the 3 in 1 Pure Active as a daily face wash. I had also tried another charcoal Gariner face wash which I found extremely strong and drying on my skin, it also had a strong smell so was interested to see how this one would compare and if they had improved the formula. \nIt was great!! \nThe wash was gentle but very effective, even after one wash my skin felt smooth and softer. I liked that it had the ability to be a daily wash that wasnt to strong considering it was charcoal and that if u leave it in as a mask u can get an even better results.\nHighly recommend!! \n

I really enjoyed trying this 3 in 1 product. I found it worked as promised and is great for a deep clean, reducing blackheads/breakouts and for keeping excess oil under control without overdrying. A little product goes a long way which is wonderful and I really liked the texture (very fine) as it was easy to apply. I used it mainly as an exfoliant and occasionally as a mask and found that after using it a few weeks my skin was much clearer and smoother. The only negative was that it was a little tricky to remove and I would have to rinse my face a few times to make sure it was all off. Overall this is a great product, works as promised and is very affordable.

Despite being hesitant at first (I’ve used a similar charcoal anti-blackhead face scrub in a different brand that I didn’t love), I was pleasantly surprised with this Garnier product. PROS - I Love that this is a 3-in-one - I tried all 3 and I’ll continue using this as a face mask once a week, love the way it easily applies to my skin, my skin felt amazing & fresh after each use and overtime my pores were noticeably reduced! CONS - slight tingling during use (I have slight sensitive skin to certain products) and slightly messy to wash off. I will definitely be purchasing again and keeping as part of my skin routine.

I use this as a mask about 4 times a week. It doesn't dry out my combination skin and leaves it feeling tight and clean. I use it mostly in my T-zone and chin, however haven't really seen any reduction in blackheads on my nose. The smell is very strong and artificial, which is important to note if you are a sensitive person, however personally I like it. It can get very messy and especially as a mask, does take quite a bit of effort to rinse off however at this stage it also serves a dual purpose as a scrub! Not sure if I would repurchase though as I prefer products where I can see a visible reduction in blackheads.

I used garnier pure active 3 in 1 charcoal 3 times a week for me I didnt see much of a difference in my pores as i do have big pores around the nose and cheeks. It did help make my skin feel fresh and clean less oily then usual. I had tried it as all three options the mask was ok, but abit annoying taking it off as it went everywhere when washing it off. I prefered using it as either a scrub or wash as it made my skin feel refreshed but in the end didnt do much to minimise my pores or blackheads. \nI would recommend this as a wash/scrub rather then a mask its price is also really good for a everyday wash/scrub but doesn’t make a real difference in minimising blackheads/pores.\n

I really like this product. I used it as a wash and scrub. I found that if you washed your face with it there was no way you wouldn't use it as a scrub too. I have tried a similar product before and because they were also a scrub I found them very abrasive. I was really pleased with this product when I first tried it. It wasn't rough on my skin and it left it feeling clean and soft. Unfortunately due to some hormone issues I haven't noticed a difference in my skin. However, I would still recommend this to people. I used it every day for a week and didn't find that it was too harsh on the skin, but because it is also a scrub it is probably best to only use it a few times a week.

I love the addition of charcoal in any face wash/scrub/mask as it works great on my skin and had only good experiences with the clay version of this aswell.\n\nIt was a bit too harsh for a wash as it still felt as though no matter how soft you washed it exfoliated still so not so good for everyday but my skin felt super clean. \n \nMy skin felt nice and soft after exfoliating but definitely needs to be noted to not scrub too hard as the beads are quite gritty and work well. \n\nOkay as a mask. My skin felt tighter, cool and tingly when I washed it off so that was pleasant. \n\nGood little drugstore buy \n

I have really enjoyed trialling this product over the last few weeks. I love the versatility of the product - I can use it to cleanse, exfoliate or as a mask! The charcoal infused in the product does wonders for my skin, reducing the amount of breakouts I get. I prefer to use this as a mask, as the product is quite thick in consistency. I do like using in the shower, as it can be a bit messy trying to wash it all of over a sink. This product is perfect to use a few times a week for anyone who has limited time to invest in their skincare routine. It simplifies it all by only having to buy one product rather than three. I would definitely recommend this and will continue to use this myself.

Having used this over a few weeks, I use 3 days a week as a cleanser and apply it as a mask once a week, my skin is evidently cleaner feels fresher. I would recommend to use this before showers as it can be quite messy to wash off your face. I enjoyed this as a mask on weekends, hop in the shower and wash the mask off for an instant cleanse. My skin is softer and cleaner. With regular use I would say blackheads would be reduced, but not 'solve' blackheads completely, it doesn't minimise pores remove acne problems. This produce would be best if it falls in your budget and for maintaining skin.

/Received this product for trialing through beauty crew/\nThis product was effective on my skin and is worth trying out.\nHowever I don't know if I would switch from my current cleanser after using this product as the result was pretty similar, and it takes a while to see a visible result, the mask aspect is useful though so It is useful in that area, been using it for the last few weeks and have noticed an change in the appearance of blackheads, people with sensitive skin should most definitely do a test before starting the product due to its fragrance and texture. overall the three in one daily cleanser is worth trying for those who want to tackle facial issues such as pimples and blackheads. \n

I love the way this makes my skin feel. I have been using this as a mask for almost a month, twice a week. It has left my skin feeling so beautiful and soft. After rinsing it off it initially felt a little dry but after rinsing my face with warm water it felt much better. It has helped to clear up my skin but not completely. It has definitely made makeup application a whole lot easier as my makeup stick to my skin more. A little does go a long way. I usually have quite sensitive skin and had no issues with rashes, bumps or redness so it works amazing if you do have sensitive skin.

I had a chance to try this review as part of the Beauty Crew and I must admit i loved this one! It comes in a squeeze tube and I used it every day as a face wash and twice a week as a scrub. I only used it once as a mask and I don't tend to use masks a lot. It does leave the face quite fresh and noticed a marked difference in my pore size after using this for a few weeks. The only thing i hated was that if it got onto tiles and u didn't wash hit away straight away it was harder to wash away once it solidified. Definitely see myself keeping this in the shower for daily use.

I have used this product for about 2-3 weeks as a scrub and incorporated it into my skincare routine. I think it works great and definitely makes my skin feel very soft, the blackheads on my nose have decreased in size and aren't as noticeable as they once were. The scent of the product is a bit unusual but after a couple of uses it's fine. Due to the nature of the product, it is quite messy and you have to thoroughly clean afterwards. Overall I think this product is quite good to use a couple of times a week but I wouldn't use this daily as it made my skin a little dry.

I used this as a wash, scrub and mask, but probably worked better as a scrub and leave-on mask. Although skin did feel very smooth after each use, it felt like it had been stripped of its natural oils. As for its effectiveness on pimples and blackheads, didn't see much notable difference over use. I've used over 10 different clay masks and found that when I wash them off, they would tend to have a brown tinge to indicate real clay ingredients, but this did not do that. The smell was probably the biggest con for me. Personally, wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

I was very intrigued to try this product and have been quite late to the charcoal craze so I was thrilled to give this one a go!\nWhile the product claims to be 3 in 1 I'll admit I haven't actually tried this product as a mask just yet so can't comment on that element however as a wash or scrub I found this product to be great! It left my skin feeling soft after each use and I quite like the novelty of the charcoal.\nAs this product can be used as a scrub it does have microbeads in the formula so I tended not to use this daily.\nMy skin is feeling and looking great. I've been struggling with breakouts recently and I've found that they've now cleared up so I will continue to use this product in conjunction with my other products.

I bought the Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 on impulse and it sat in my bathroom cupboard for a few weeks until I woke up this morning with super dehydrated skin (thank you peri menopause!).\n\nThinking it was purely a face mask I surprised at the slightly grainy texture, but persevered. It gave my skin a slight tingle but nothing unbearable. After 5-10 mins I washed it off in the shower and my skin looked smooth and felt hydrated & soft. \n\nIt's an inexpensive product that really works. I think this will now become part of my weekly beauty routine. \n

it didn’t do anything for my skin. Best used as a scrub 2-3 times a week not a daily face wash. If used daily it would irritate the skin too much. Even as a scrub though it was kinda basic. No lasting results with this one. A good mad and scrub would make suck an effect on your skin which you would only need to do 2 times a week, an all in 3 is not going to be as effective and no way should you be scrubbing your face daily, you are not giving your skin enough time to regenerate all the dead skin you scrubbed off the day before or in the morning.

This product is OK. I used it as all three options and honestly it did nothing. As a face wash I do not recommend using it nightly as constant exfoliation is bad for your skin. I preferred to use it as a scrub as it was gentle and made my skin feel really nice and clean after. As a mask it was just annoying. It somehow got everywhere as it dries and flaked off my face. In saying that I found that it helped with my oily areas and helped reduce the oiliness. I recommend this product to people with oily skin as it did dry out my nonoily areas.

I wasn't a fan of this product. The gently exfoliation was the prefect roughness but that was all it had going for it. I would not recommend using the scrub as a daily scrub though as I feel it is too course for daily use. The smell was strong and over powering and the stuff was a nightmare to wash off. As a mask it didn't dry hard enough for my liking. When used as a wash I didn't get that clean feeling after that I get from other cleansers. It definitely did not close or minimise any of my pores. I would not recommend this to a friend.

I honestly thought this product would be too abrasive and harsh for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It works well as all 3 things it advertises to be, but I liked it best as, and will ongoingly use it my routine as, a mask. It was great to draw out impurities in my skin, but was not as harsh as a clay mask. The scent of the product is pleasingly fresh, and I like that it came in a tube - it was nice not to have to dig around in a pot for product. For the price, it's a nice versatile product to have on the shelf. Would repurchase.

I’ve been using this as a twice weekly mask, and it has made such an improvement on my skin. My blackheads around my nose are virtually non existent and my enlarged pores have shrunk. \n\nI kept the mask on for about 5-7 minutes, and I didn’t have any issues with a burning or tingling sensation. I have combination/oily skin and this product successfully managed my breakouts, oily skin and dry patches all at once. \n\nThis product is heavily fragranced so if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t use this. \n\nA big thumbs up from me! \n

I have used this product for a month - as a cleanser, scrub and mask - and it has basically done nothing for my skin. I have noticed no difference in the amount of blackheads that I have. Using a pore strip is much, much more effective. Also, marketing it as both a cleanser and scrub is incredibly misleading because it is basically a cleanser with some exfoliating beads in it. The dark colour of it also makes it incredibly messy. It also has an odd smell, which is annoying as you are meant to use it around your nose.\n

This product is a wash, scrub and mask. I used it as a wash and scrub as a part of my night time routine for three nights. I have oily/combination and sensitive skin. This product is not bad however I feel that the cons overweigh the pros. Pros: works well as basic wash. Cons: smell is very chemically (I usually use organic or natural skincare so the smell was too strong for me), not enough beads to be a scrub but I feel as though as a wash it didn't really remove the dirt and left over make up I had on my face (which my usual wash is able to remove). It did not cause any reaction on my face which is good, but it is not a product I would look forward to in my skincare. The smell is too much for me to try it as a mask. Not bad product, but overall, wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Although i want to love this product because of its convenience, i wasn't the biggest fan. The product has 3 uses; wash, scrub and mask.\n1. WASH -The grains in this were too harsh to be considered as an everyday wash\n2. SCRUB - I did like this product as a scrub. It wasn't too harsh and it gave great results\n3- I love a charcoal product, especially a mask, but this one was very messy.\n\nI would purchase this product only for the benefits of the scrub, i was not a fan of the wash and mask\n

I used this product as a wash and it was amazing. My nose has zero blackheads whereas with other products never made my face look or feel like the garnier face wash does. I rarely have break outs anymore because of this product and all of my concerns that i had for this product went out of the window. I would recomment this product to everyone. It is multi-purpose and can be used 3 different ways! I will be continuing to use this because it has made such a difference within my skincare routine

What a great product!\n\nI’m a sucker for multi-purpose products, so once I saw this I knew I have to give it a whirl. \n\nPros - feels amazing on the skin (the beads are just the right size so you don’t feel like you’re scrapping at your skin), smell is pleasant, helps to bring pimple to the surface\n\nCons - didn’t remove all my blackheads (it may have tightened my pores though!)\n\nOverall: great product that I’d definitely use on a weekly basis to exfoliate and draw out my impurities.\n

Loved this product! I used it as a daily cleanser as well as a mask and it felt extremely gentle on my skin. After washing it off, my skin did not dry out at all - it felt very smooth. Its a product that sits nicely between an exfoliator and an everyday cleanser as it wasn't too harsh on the skin - it was nice to use on the skin everyday however had enough beads in it to really exfoliate the skin as well! A really great cleanser that I'll definitely continue to use in the future!

I used this product as a recommendation and it worked a treat for the stubborn black heads on my nose. I have a combination of dry and oily skin type so i also double it up as a face mask once a week and i find that it really helps balance out my skin. My husband also uses it and loves that he can scrub his face in the shower. We've been buying this product since and only need to invest in 1 between the two of us. Would really recommend if your partner needs a face was as well.

I like this product, I've been using it three or so times a week as a cleanser/scrub. It cleans my skin but doesn't make it feel too clean, the exfoliating beads leave my skin feeling nice and smooth. Didn't notice a significant difference in the appearance of my pores and blackheads, I'm also not a fan of the scent, I don't like heavily scented products. I didn't really like it as a mask, I felt that it didn't make much of a difference to my skin. Overall, it's an okay product.

Okay first of all, if you don't like strong smells this is not the product for you. I didn't notice any irritation caused by the fragrance, but I just did not find it an enjoyable smell.\nSecondly, if you have sensitive skin you will not be able to use this as an every day scrub/cleanser. I don't have overly sensitive skin but the exfoliants are way too harsh and irritating. \nAs I couldn't use it as an every day thing, I have instead been using the product as a weekly mask/scrub. I find this does not irritate my skin and does leave my skin looking and feeling fresh. However I have not noticed any long-lasting results. \nI would only recommend this for people with very oily and blackhead prone skin. Personally I would not repurchase as I find other products provide better value for money results for my skin.\n

I liked this product! I have oily/combination skin and it did a great job at cleansing!\nI didn't like the mask, bit too messy for me compared to other masks & I found it didnt set properly.\nI loved the concept of this though. Being able to cleanse, scrub and then mask. Or mask, scrub and cleanse. \nMy skin was smooth after use and not dried out. Not something I will rush out to buy frequently, But a great back up for travelling or when you run out of product!\n

I've been using this mask on and off for about a month and I think the concept of it is interesting however I think it still needs improvements in order for it to be a 5 star product. \n\nPros: Cooling, Good for combination skin as it leaves skin feeling soft and doesn't dry out skin after use.\n\nCons: Doesn't smell nice (no scent would have been better), can't really be used as a face wash because of the exfoliating ingredient - its more like a 2 in 1 product.\n

I have combination skin and this was great for my skin. I use this two or three times a week and it makes my skin feel fresh, clean and soft afterwards. I prefer it more as a wash/scrub however I love that it's a 3-in-1 which is great if you're travelling and don't have the space for a whole heap of products. I think any more than three or four times a week would be too much as you'd be exfoliating your face anyway if you were wanting to use it as a simple wash.

Loved trialing this product, really enjoyed how easy it was to use and travel with , a small amount of product goes along way and has a very pleasant non overpowering scent . This product is really pleasant to use even if your new to using charcoal based products.Also is a Great product for makeup users to unclog the skin leaves it feeling fresh and silky without drying out the skin.Used this product twice a week and would definitely recommend this product.
