"These are the places I go to have some ‘me’ time, where I feel my most relaxed and centred”"

Life is busy but I always make sure I find the time to head to my favourite running spots in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. Armed with a killer playlist, I lose myself in the serenity of the coastal views. These are the places I go to have some ‘me’ time, where I feel my most relaxed and centred.

Head to Diamond Bay reserve and follow the wooden track right along the coastline. There is a huge drop and sheer cliff face where the water smashes into the rocks. There are usually a few fishermen about, and when I filmed the video there were whales frolicking in the sea. It really is stunning. If running isn’t your thing, there’s a park right at the start of the track where you can picnic and even bring your pup as it’s dog friendly.

The second track I love is the Vaucluse Light House Reserve, it’s mostly flat but there are a few hills to get those glutes burning. There’s usually an array of sailing boats out on the water which is so beautiful to overlook them from such a great height. It isn’t too busy and often you’ll pretty much have the park to yourself. There’s a cute little cafe at the end of the run so I usually treat myself to a coffee after I’ve finished my training. Keep an eye out for the huge white building you see in my video - that’s a great place to start the run.

The third running track, and my favourite of all is Bondi to Bronte. I am there every morning for sunrise. It’s a 4km track and takes you past Bondi beach, Tamarama and finally to Bronte. Each beach is very special for its own reasons, however on the weekends it does get busy so it’s best to go early and avoid the crowds if you plan to run. Take some time out to watch the surfers catching the most epic waves and if it’s your lucky day you may spot some dolphins!

Walk, stroll or run, all of these tracks are just perfect to get outside and enjoy the sheer beauty this gorgeous city has to offer!
