Garnier is delighted to announce it’s involvement for the third time in the acclaimed Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show this March.
 
“We’ve been overwhelmed at the success of Garnier World at this event in previous years, and we wish to continue the success and the wonderful partnership with the Melbourne International Flower and Garden show again this year” said Mark O’Keefe, Garnier General Manager.
 
Garnier is embracing its philosophy of natural, healthy beauty and aligning the brand with events that have a ‘natural’ fit.
Being present at this prestigious flower and garden show is a perfect fit for Garnier as our product range is inspired by nature and is infused with naturally sourced active ingredients.
 
The revolutionary Garnier World dome will also allow us the opportunity to showcase our natural ingredients while still offering complimentary hairstyles, massages and mini facials. 
 
Garnier World will be located at site B 49, Carlton Gardens. The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show runs from Wednesday 28th March to Sunday April 1st.

Each year Floriade’s spectacular display of floral magic draws visitors from near and far and Floriade 2011 was no exception! As major sponsors of Floriade NightFest, Garnier World was along for the ride spreading the Take Care experience during 5 fun-filled days and nights (28 Sep - 2 Oct).

Garnier World guests were once again spoiled and pampered with skincare consultations, complimentary massages or a hair styling session. Our lucky visitors also scored free gift bags packed with full size Garnier products including our new Invisi Mineral Deodorant and #1 eye product, our Tinted Anti Dark Circles Roll-on!

With lots to see and do, excitement peaked on Saturday Oct 1, when Garnier World was treated to a very special appearance by Farmer Wants A Wife host, and Garnier Nutrisse spokesmodel, the lovely Natalie Gruzlewski. Natalie joined us for the afternoon, stopping to make new friends, take happy snaps with fans, and dazzle us with her warmth and charming personality!

Next up, Natalie took to the stage with chef Shane Crebs and the winner of the ‘Taking Care of You Inside and Out competition’. The competition, presented by the Floriade Facebook page, asked fans to nominate their favourite spring time recipes - recipes which included one of the natural ingredients found in the Garnier product range. Fans could submit recipes using either avocado, apricot, coffee, cocoa butter, grape or bamboo. The winner was Kerri Dart from Sydney, whose Bamboo & Pork Spring Fling stir fry recipe had us licking our lips! Joining Natalie during the NightFest ‘From the Pantry’ event, Kerri and chef Shane prepared the winning recipe during an entertaining cooking demonstration. The recipe went down a treat, and one lucky audience member even got to taste-test Kerri’s creation! Beyond Garnier World, watch Natalie help prepare a dish that is inspired by the natural ingredients found in the Garnier product range. Catch her at 7pm in the From the Pantry marquee.

NightFest returns for five stunning nights from 28 September to 2 October 2011, 6.30 - 10.30pm. Spring into evenings under the stars with spectacular lighting, comedy, acrobatics, music, and night markets. Chill with cocktails and enjoy movies under the stars. The sun was shining, flowers were blooming and for the second year in a row, Garnier was Taking Care of guests at this year’s Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 30 March – 3 April 2011.

 

With an older and more diverse audience, The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, the largest horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere, was a celebration of the Australian lifestyle and the great outdoors.

 

And what better way for us to celebrate our relaxed and positive approach to life than to Take Care of patrons with personalised pamper sessions including skincare consultations, hair styles and massages!

 

Using our extensive product range which is inspired by nature and infused with naturally sourced active ingredients like bamboo, avocado and apricot extract, Garnier World hosted more than 6,100 people over the 5 days.

 

And it wasn’t just Garnier Taking Care at MIFGS… We were proud to see that every person through Garnier World helped us Take Care of the World Around Us by donating a gold coin to Surfrider Foundation Australia – a non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection and care of Australia’s beaches, coastlines and waterways!
